Explore Starcon

I'm going to brake up vacation post series to share the Starcon experience. A week ago I was sitting on the same spot and getting ready to go. We've been to lovely Saint Petersburgh. We managed to have a charming walk in the  evening even right after the con. Starcon was all about sci-fi and we loved it so much. We even wore the Jedi costumes (wait for them in the end of post). Max, my lovely husband, sewed them for only 3 days (that's why the design is so simple). and I also got 2d place in Star Wars Miniatures board game tournament took place there. I'm so happy!
As for outfit - I've chosen a super comfy outfit with a very cool pants! I bought them on ebay and they are more than 20 year old pants (I guess soon they could buy booze on their own but I doubt I need it). I love them for their shape - keeping me cool during hot and warm when needed. Oh, and can I also call it my pijama pants trend pants? or not?
What I also wanted to mention you are my fab set jewelry - russian doll Matryoshka set was created by friend. very lightweight and handpainted they easily add russian charm to anything you are wearing (and yes, if you are following my instagram you already saw this set)

And some Starcon shots

I was wearing:
Vintage pants
Mango t-shirts (both are from that shop)
Marc by Marc Jacobs flipflops

Handsewedjedi costumes

Have a nice day,
Lyosha

  44. Love your laid back look. Starcon sounds like so much fun. I am more of a fantasy person, but I've gotten into more science fiction as I've gotten older. It's been a few years since I've been to a con. I can't wait to go to another one.

  51. Oh my gosh, you make such a cute little Jedi! Grrr, I'm so jealous, that looks like a lot of fun. I need to go to a Star Wars convention someday. Maybe I could meet a guy dressed as Darth Maul. **shudders with delight** Anyway, about Venus fly traps. I guess they just need plenty of sunlight and humidity and good soil. They need to be in a mixture of peat moss and sand. They're not too difficult to care for, and they're so adorable. You should most definitely get one.

May the force be with you.

Thank you for making me happy

Yesterday I had a crazy day. I was super tired and stressed out. That's why I way so happy to see my very first award. Thank you so much dear Cosmo Calista for making my day better! As I got the reward I should follow the rules. and the rules are: - thank who send you the award and add a link to her/his blog; (done even without a note) - write 7 random things about you; - give the award to other 15 bloggers you love and tell them. Seven random facts are difficult in fact but here it goes: 1. I don't normally cook (Max does it for me) but I regularly bake (about 2 times a week). 2. I love skiing with my dad but I'd never go skiing without him. 3. I'm ambidextrous which means I use my both hands equally bad 4. I'm a grown up but I share my bed not only with my soon-to be husband but also with a stuffed toy. This little dog is almost 16 years old. 5. The best waking up recepie for me is tea with sugar and lemon. I call it the crappy tea ...

Still can't skate

Each year they set up a free artificial ice skating area as part of Christmas village in our city. I have tried it several times before and could never figure it out. But it is fun anyways. There is something in doing something horribly without any shame. I am not trying to excel in it and for some reason it it truly deeply liberating. What do you think? I wore simple and comfy outfit. Cropped top with Nightmare before Christmas print (it is Christmas theme for me, ok), comfortable back cargo pants and sneakers. You can not really top that. I was wearing: Cuidado con el Perro top and pants Converse shoes   Have a nice day, Lyosha

Walk the river

Today I want to tell about vacation of mine. I don't want to start chronologically instead I want to show you the best day ever we spend in Gelendgik area. It was a day full of walking swimming and fun. We went to a special nature area park build around river Zhane. Mountains and absolutely dreamy rocks everywhere with waterfalls and baths. The scenery is so dreamy I just couldn't help it! So let the photo speak for themselves. We actually swam in the river. So refreshing and totally wild. I was so impressed that I felt like sea is only a so-so place for swimming after magic rivers Zhane and Pshada (I'll tell you about it in my next post). I wore my wonderful romper I take with me on most of the trips (it asked for no space and fits perfectly. Flipflops make walking around the rocket harder but if you need to step onto the river all the times it is an optimal choice. Comfy tiny bight blue-green top to finish the outfit alongside with a ca...
