Happy Valentine's! I do think it's a nice holiday to get some extra romance, eat chocolate (it's an excuse to eat more of it for any sweet tooth) and finally get out of home together. My husband and I are not that much of a fan of obligatory holidays but we like doing romantic staff so February 14th comes naturally. Today we visited Philharmonic and listened to some classic music. In fact it was a coincidence but why not if you are still very much in love and ready to celebrate.
P.S. I also got a surprise with my favorite sweets, that is such a blessing!

Sounds like a great way to celebrate Valentines Day! Love the dress
ReplyDeleteThe point of the holiday for me is spending it with the one you love whether thats at the philharmonic, or on the couch watching a movie. We too aren't fans of these types of holidays just because it's all gotten so commercial. The cost of flowers, restaurants etc. are all inflated so much. Glad you enjoyed yourselves!
ReplyDeleteThat Akhmadullina dreams dress is to die for! What a classy dark dress for a spectacular night out.
ReplyDeleteThat sounds like a fun way to spend the day! My husband and I don't celebrate Valentine's Day, the idea that we have to do 'enough' one day of the week to show we love someone doesn't fly well with me. That being said, we do little things regularly and those little things carry through into Valentine's Day, so you could argue we did something fun yesterday (he brought home my favourite craft beer and made me dinner so that we could enjoy an entire evening off watching movies together while cuddling with our pups)
ReplyDeleteHappy Valentine Day. I see you had a great time and as usual i love your clothes and the way you dress. This year i celebrated at home and cooked for the wife and daughter. Thanks for sharing this with us. Jerry godinho
ReplyDeleteWhat a cute little pink bag! Sounds like a lovely way to celebrate Valentine's day! We don't really celebrate it here.
ReplyDeleteHope you're having a great weekend :)

I agree with you 100% about not being the biggest fan of obligatory holidays, but still enjoying the romantic part of it. You look so happy. Great blog post.
ReplyDeleteSounds like you had a wonderful Valentines day. My partner and I aren't big on Valentine's Day but we do like to take a little extra time to appreciate each other.
ReplyDeleteGoing to a concert playing classical music is a nice way to celebrate Valentine's day! My husband and I stayed home this year (not by choice, but because of some chronic illness). Hopefully next year we can go and find a nice, quiet, scenic place to celebrate Valentines. Love your dress, BTW.
ReplyDeleteThis is the way Valentine's Day should be celebrated--people in love doing things they love. I hate the commercialism of holidays and wish we could get back to focusing on the family and friends aspects.
ReplyDeleteLife is too short to not enjoy every damn day. Turn everyday into a Valentine's day and life will be so blissful
ReplyDeleteAw I am so happy that you got to enjoy Valentine's Day. I hope you're having a wonderful weekend as well!
ReplyDeleteCoincidence of not, going to listen to a classical performance sounds very romantic!

ReplyDeletethat purse of yours is very pretty! I am looking for one in that size right now, which is why it stuck out to me so much! Happy Valentine's day to both of you! Blessings!
ReplyDeleteI don't really need any additional excuses to eat chocolate lol but I do think Valentine's day is a nice reminder to be good to ourselves and our loved ones.
ReplyDeleteHappy Valentine's day! What a creative way to celebrate the occasion. Can you share some of your sweets here? Hehe
ReplyDeleteNO! the sweets are mine alone, hahaha!
DeleteIt looks like you had a marvelous Valentine's Day! 🚢🍕📸💖👓
ReplyDeleteSounds like a wonderful Valentine's Day! That dress is adorable.
ReplyDeleteAny excuse to get out of the house with your husband is great. We are both so busy that it's nice when we can take time for ourselves to just be with one another. I'll have to look into seeing a classical concert or a musical soon - it's something I'd love to see more of!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great way to spend Valentine's Day! I did not do anything special, just had a movie night in :)
ReplyDeleteIt's nice to appreciate out loved ones. Any day is a good day for such music. :)
ReplyDeleteI normally don’t like Valentine’s Day but I did really enjoy it this year. I think it’s partly because it’s our last valentines in the states
ReplyDeleteYou seem to have had a great time Lyosha. Me and my wife too spent some wonderful time together doing things we love.
ReplyDeleteWe aren’t fans either. We like to spend it together at home beating all the restaurant lines!
ReplyDeleteQuesto è un ottimo post e l'ho trovato e mi è piaciuto. Mi piacerebbe di più, grazie per averlo condiviso.
