I am a positive person and I prefer keeping my blog positive. In times of mass hysteria I tried to avoid the hot topic of CoronaVirus on my blog. Well I no longer can. Today Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Russia was cancelled. I am sad but I do agree it is for the better. One more thing that affected us is the cancellation of many events. One of them is our tiny family tradition of St. Patrick's parade. Seeing so many happy and green people in Moscow, meeting both accidentally and planned our friends and enjoy the green joy. It was important. This year we will have no parade. I will still celebrate wearing green and probably watching some Irish movie tonight (any suggestions, by the way?). And here is my outfit for the event.
Green and fun. I love this leg warmers so much. I bought it for fun on Lingerie Fashion Week last year, hardly I thought I will wear it that often but I do. And yes I had no chance to avoid wearing my favorite green fox sweater. Pay attention to my earrings. This cute owls are my Father's gift! So sweet and thoughtful!

Don't forget to laugh and enjoy your enlarged time with family at home. Time to read more, play board games and catch up on that series!

So needed to hear this right now and have a bit of positivity. Love your outfit too!
ReplyDeleteI think it's a good decision that they cancelled the parade as this is all for our own good. I love your positivity and I am happy to know that you still celebrate in your own way. Happy St. Paddy's.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great outfit! We normally don't do much for St. Patrick's Day. I just realized I'm not even wearing green. Oops!
ReplyDeleteThanks for your good energy during these uncertain, chaotic times!
ReplyDeleteYes it is very sad and a bit over whelming. Lets hope this crisis passes sooner then later. Not even sure there will be a FW in the fall. On a more positive note this look is super cute : )

That outfit is amazing! I love the fox sweater!!!! And we are excited to be celebrating St. Patrick's Day here with corned beef and cabbage.
ReplyDeleteYou look like a little Russian leprechaun. :). This virus has interrupted so much in life but let's hope it is a tiny blip on our radar in future years to come.
ReplyDeleteMy husband has been busy with work so I made him corn beef. He is supposed to be working from home but his job is in demand right now with this virus
ReplyDeleteIt is definitely possible to focus on the positive while still acknowledging everything that is happening in the world. You have done that perfectly here! Your outfit is beautiful and so perfectly themed. It made me smile! I hope you have a wonderful St Patrick's Day, even though the festivities will be different this year. <3
ReplyDeletethe creation of beauty is art.
I'm all dressed in green today along with my children. Just because manythings are cancelled doesn't mean we have to cancel fun! Enjoy your day and stay positive
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun outfit! Happy St. Paddy's day to you!
ReplyDeleteIt's crazy. Today all of the casinos shut down in Las Vegas along with all non essential businesses!!
ReplyDeleteAMAZING OUTFIT! Really love the leg warmers!
ReplyDeleteCancelling the parade is a great idea because in this way we are able to help our government to avoid the spreading of COVID19 virus. For the mean time we need to stay at home, be safe and pray. We can still celebrate St. Patrick's Day at home and I am sure kids will understand that. Love the outfit!
ReplyDeleteSt Patrick’s Day was a very quiet affair where I am. This is a cute outfit!
ReplyDeleteSuch a cute outfit! I love the leg warmers. I often wear leg warmers here in Norway because its always so cold.

ReplyDeleteI've been doing posts about the virus but I put a spin such as sharing productive ways to survive the quarantine. It's something that is affecting all of us. However, you seem to survive it in style.
ReplyDeleteWe all have to do our part. These cancelations and things we have to do are essential for the greater good.
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh your outfit is amazing! The fox on your sweater is the cutest! And I love the legwarmers! Thanks for staying positive right now. I needed this!
ReplyDeleteThe leg warmers are great but can we talk about your shoes for a second? They are so much fun! I'm sorry that you don't get to have your usual St. Patrick's Day celebrations, but hopefully all of this will start to look up for everyone in the near future!

DeleteSuch a cute, playful outfit! I love the jumper, it instantly makes you happy. We didn't do anything for St Patrick's Day this year but i'm sure we will have a late celebration when this difficult period goes away.
ReplyDeleteThat Ahmadullina Dreams fox sweater is out of this world. SOOOO fun! Just tried to find it online, but didn't. Do you have a link by chance? Or is it one of those products that just shows up for a season and then disappears forever?
