The Outside

I have to admit I most likely have not been very engaging this week. I could take a walk and run in the morning. I have waited for it for half a week after the announcement and I loved it. That's pretty obvious, right?
I am most likely wearing wearing something else today so I will share you my outfit from before. I wore it hang out in the country house of my husband's parent's last week. Don't worry we used our car and have been as careful as we possibly could.

I wore simple outfit: jeans, top and a cute pendant with dog paw. Our pups were doing a great job keeping us sane during the lockdown. I tend to be more into my dogs than ever. It was nice to be able to hang out outside even if it wasn't warm enough to fully enjoy it. I went to walk the dogs every day but I can't say I really enjoyed outdoors, it was more of time with them. It was nice to be outside with no mask or worry, great change of pace. But I definitely prefer masked freedom of a walk at home, if you ask me. Home is home even after 64 days of isolation.

I was wearing:
Levi's ribcage jeans
Monki top
c/o Faberlic pendant
Fila sneakers

Have a nice day,
Lyosha

  1. That's so funny. I can relate, but no dogs. At least you still get to go outside by walking them and enjoying the weather. While the mask is not yet mandatory every time you go out for a walk.

    1. mask is mandatory everywhere outside your house. The photos are taken on a backyard of my husband's family house. we don't have to wear mask there

  8. In the US we've slowly been starting to have quarantines lifted but still needing to go outside with masks on if you are in public places, stores, etc. Though with all the protesting happening now I'm not sure how this is all going to work out as far as COVID coming back again.

    1. same with us. and the gloves. I really hate the glove idea.

we have protest here as well but it is not nearly that successful. each person get to jail for hours or day (depending on background) for protesting. I don't know if you read about Russian Constitution changes vote coming in July but it's pretty nasty here

We have been on lockdown (or community quarantine as it is called here) since March 16th. Almost 90 days! I have been anxious since day 1 and I wish we could enjoy the outdoors again. Although we are allowed to go out, it is only to purchase essentials (food and medicine). I am glad you were able to enjoy going some place.

    1. that's intense, I wouldn't want to be in your shoes, 90 days is way too much! here it was called mandatory self isolation but sounds so ridiculous that nobody uses the official term here. we were allowed essential shopping twice a week and dog walks in 100 meter radius from the door. I am so happy it finished.
I hope it will finish for you too

  27. Nice outfit and I really liked that dog paw pendant! Your background looks very green, we've had so much sun that all of our grass is brown here in London.

    1. thanks! It's an adorable detail, I believe.
Here we had all the London rain, I believe. For example we had 300% of May norm of rain water on May 31st alone

  28. I've been wanting to go out to the park or a place that looks like the backyard of your husband's family house. It looks refreshing. Your simple outfit is perfect with that ambiance.

  29. I love the colour of that top on you - it really pops! They are getting ready to roll out phase 2 of reopening the province here, however, they are holding back in a few 'high risk' areas. Unfortunately for me, I live in one of those areas. So, we're remaiing in phase 1 for the time being while we wait for them to give us the okay. However, they are talking about opening up campgrounds which is SUPER exciting!

  31. Good to see you going out again and you seem to be back to enjoying the outdoors. Being in your in-laws house in the countryside must have been a good change with all the green around. I love the color of your top and jeans are my all time favorite always.

  32. I haven't been that engaging for the past few weeks either but going outside has really kept me sane. Nice post!

  33. I had the opportunity to see my in-laws last week and it was simply amazing! Just seeing other faces and hugs was a really big deal. I'm so glad that things are returning to somewhat normal. I'm like you being very glad I had my cat during the quarantine. It wasn't easy, but his entertainment at least distracted me a couple times a day. Pets are the best.

  36. Love the cheerful top! Where I am in USA we do not have to wear masks out at all. Some people do in the stores but my county has had only one death and the person contracted the illness and died out of state. Most of us don't know a single person who has tested positive. I'm hoping it stays that way!

  37. So nice to get outside and enjoy some freedom after a lockdown. And simple outfits are the best. I'm all about simple! Love the outfit!

Still can't skate

Each year they set up a free artificial ice skating area as part of Christmas village in our city. I have tried it several times before and could never figure it out. But it is fun anyways. There is something in doing something horribly without any shame. I am not trying to excel in it and for some reason it it truly deeply liberating. What do you think? I wore simple and comfy outfit. Cropped top with Nightmare before Christmas print (it is Christmas theme for me, ok), comfortable back cargo pants and sneakers. You can not really top that. I was wearing: Cuidado con el Perro top and pants Converse shoes   Have a nice day, Lyosha

More about hats

How did you welcome a new year? I did it calmly with lots of time dedicated to myself. Man, I needed a nice little break here and there, especially as my little one is home for a school break. I have had a lot of fun but I also managed to dig in some interesting information I really want to share with you. I now live in the hot climate and wear hats only for style but I used to wear hats to keep me warm years back. And you know what I am happy I have a choice. These days I wear a lot of bucket hats and baseball hats and occasionally rock a fedora. Do you fancy some hats? I used to wear wool based hats all the time but I never actually didn't try to alter it. recently I found a great way to alter them and get them to fit you perfectly. I would love to share it with you because I know just how much a good fit changes the whole perspective on a life in the cold. I have discovered three fantastic ways to deal with it: hot water pot, shower and washing machine (only applicable on bucke...

Walk the river

Today I want to tell about vacation of mine. I don't want to start chronologically instead I want to show you the best day ever we spend in Gelendgik area. It was a day full of walking swimming and fun. We went to a special nature area park build around river Zhane. Mountains and absolutely dreamy rocks everywhere with waterfalls and baths. The scenery is so dreamy I just couldn't help it! So let the photo speak for themselves. We actually swam in the river. So refreshing and totally wild. I was so impressed that I felt like sea is only a so-so place for swimming after magic rivers Zhane and Pshada (I'll tell you about it in my next post). I wore my wonderful romper I take with me on most of the trips (it asked for no space and fits perfectly. Flipflops make walking around the rocket harder but if you need to step onto the river all the times it is an optimal choice. Comfy tiny bight blue-green top to finish the outfit alongside with a ca...
