Floppy hat



This week has just started but I already feel like it's a great week! I enjoy it so much. So much to do, work under and enjoy. Even if life gives you lemons, remember how you eat it whole and love it.I am a positive person and I choose to see pretty but doesn't mean there is nothing to disturb me, I just focus on what is good. It's just a side note, don't dig too deep.

The weather is awesome in Moscow and I enjoy every moment of it. Summer passes so fast so I want to take all of it be it walks, boat, outdoors or ice cream. To take photos we went to the wall nearby. On purpose, we missed taking photos there even if we had plenty of other places to shoot in. Back to basics, I'd say. What I also want to say about this outfit is very simple: invest (and it doesn't have to a a real investment just have it in you closet) in statement pieces. Be it bold necklace, a creative hat, pop colors on top/bikini or a cute bag. I highly recommend a floppy hat. It might not be most comfortable to wear but it gives me awesome feeling of extra elegance and it looks fab on photos. My dress is very simple and basic so I need something else to make my outfit stand out. Hat is easy to style and pull off but makes a huge impact. It's also not tricky, I hardly see any possible issues styling such a hat. Just remember: it partly blocks your vision, be careful.






I was wearing:
BCBG Max Azaria dress (thrifted)
Uniqlo bag (last season)
Floppy hat (bought 9 years ago on a beach in Montenegro, never though it would stay strong for so long)
Flats c/o my mom (as it was a poor fit for her foot, good for mine)

    I remember my mom having something similar. It really made her look so stylish whenever she wore it. I want to get one for myself. I've always been using ball caps but I guess it is about time to level up my fashion style.

    I love your summer dresses and skirts! That hat fits so perfectly with the rest of the look too. I'm also amazed that your hat lasted 9 years. Those always seem to become the favorites too, like they're just meant to become a classic part of the wardrobe.

    I am absolutely in love with your dress. The colours work together so beautifully and it looks unbelievably comfortable for warmer summer weather! I don't have a floppy hat yet but I keep talking about getting one for when I'm lazing around the pool and want to keep the sun out of my eyes.

How did you welcome a new year? I did it calmly with lots of time dedicated to myself. Man, I needed a nice little break here and there, especially as my little one is home for a school break. I have had a lot of fun but I also managed to dig in some interesting information I really want to share with you. I now live in the hot climate and wear hats only for style but I used to wear hats to keep me warm years back. And you know what I am happy I have a choice. Dear-lover swimsuit

Summer is here. I can feel it in the air. I am so consumed by great weather. And warmth also means I spend more and more time on a boat. And wear my boat uniform way more often. Interested what I call boat uniform? It is simple: it is a swimsuit. And if it is sea themed it is even better.
