It was not that long ago when I posted about beauty items but here I am again. Sharing my thoughts on this. I totally blame the isolation at home during spring for that because I have never been that much of beauty addict before. My own makeup and especially self care collection expanded greatly. I have to admit, I am all in! Today I want to share my latest review of Nivea dry shampoo. Thank you so much Nivea for providing me with this test material.
I have oily hair. There is nothing about it really but it gives me some complications. For example when I want to attend to any event it's normally in the evening. And I normally have to do something before that. I often worry if my hair will end up looking good at the event. I am all in for body positive, trust me but dirty hair as well as body odor is something you can and need to work on, it is not something you should just accept. Dry shampoo is a live savior to me. I gain more confidence no matter what I did before. And it also gives me extra time before washing my hair if needed. And it also can be used a tool to tame your hair, mildly but still enough at least for my straighter than straight hair. The only issue I have ever had is a slight discoloration, fading of my hair color. As I can not dye my hair it's even more obvious. I didn't like that but it was the best I could get so I ignored it. Surprisingly Nivea solved that issue with making a dry shampoo made for dark hair. It gives a little tint over your hair masking the tiny adsorbent traces. My hair look so good, so alive and so pretty! I am super happy!
On the photos I having fun imagining the moment when you to decide what gives you more confidence: wearing a hat you might not wear with your outfit otherwise or a dry shampoo with faded hair color. Fr me now the answer is simple: add a hat only if you feel like it.
P.S. if you use dry shampoo make sure do wash your hair after, it is not supposed to stay on for days.

Haha! I can feel the fun just by reading this! yes, wear both if you want! Good job!
ReplyDeleteI am pretty sure that both the hat and that dry shampoo looks good on you and yes, I agree that we should wash our hair after using dry shampoo. Thank you!
ReplyDeleteI admit I have and use dry shampoo. It's great for mornings when you wake up late, injury (try washing your hair with injured shoulder!). It's a lifesaver some days.
ReplyDeleteI have never used dry shampoo. This would be great for when traveling.
ReplyDeleteI’m more of a hat person myself lol. Sry shampoo is great
ReplyDeleteIn a pinch. I especially love the Moroccan oil one.
I'm sure you look good in hats and with dry shampoo! I love using Nivea products!
ReplyDeleteThis is a fun post! I usually go for a hat to be honest if my hair doesn't look too great.
ReplyDeleteYES! I swear by dry shampoo. Honestly, I don't know what I would do without it! Not only does it work great at home when it comes to extending the life of my hair dye (less washing = less fading) but it's also the perfect option to bring along for my many camping and hiking trips.
ReplyDeleteI love winter as I get to wear a tuque so that solves my hair problems haha. I rarely use dry shampoo as I prefer baby powder for the same purpose.
ReplyDeleteI tried dry shampoo once and wasn't a fan at first until I found one that really worked for my hair type. It seriously saves me sooo much time in the morning and makes my in-between wash days feel a lot smoother.
ReplyDeleteHair is never a problem to me for obvious reason. I would definitely recommend this to my wife and 3 daughters.
ReplyDeleteHair can be both a blessing and a curse. I personally struggled with my hair a lot. There is also a lot of misinformation about hair products, which make the scene even more complicated.
ReplyDeleteWow. I've heard of dry shampoo, but I never knew exactly what it does to your hair. Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteI am definitely a dry shampoo girl, although it does take work to find one that works well for you.
ReplyDeleteI love how you pictured that - I am lucky to have dry hair that keeps it shape mostly :)
ReplyDeleteI've heard of dry shampoo, but I've never tried it before. I love your outfit, you have a great sense of style. Nice review!
ReplyDeleteI used to try those dry shampoo's but my hair was more greasy from them. I use baby powder , when I need to but also when is winter a hat / beanie is a better idea.
ReplyDeleteI've tried dry shampoo before, and it was okay. It definitely isn't my go to product, but it was okay. I don't wear hats. Nice review, and great pics as always. :)

The benefits of Nivea dry hair shampoo, appear very real from your descriptions. You sound like you truly appreciate them.
ReplyDeleteI never tried Nivea dry shampoo need to get it xx
ReplyDeleteI love a good dry shampoo! It can be really helpful. These pictures are so fun!
ReplyDeletethe creation of beauty is art.
not famous here in philippines,,,,1st time i heard of it...now im curious
ReplyDeleteThis was fun to read. I dont like dry shampoo, but I do like hats
ReplyDeleteIt's an interesting read. The best is to wash hair lol but if don't have enough time then could go for dry shampoo.
ReplyDeleteI can never get dry shampoo to work. My hair always looks greasier after I use it. I have tried spraying closer to my head, farther away, spraying it then letting it sit for a few before brushing. I just can't figure it out , so.... just give me the dang hat! lol or a messy bun.
ReplyDeleteLove dry shampoo! It really does help!
ReplyDeleteI love dry shampoo! I have been using it occasionally for over a year and it's good for when you have to go out unplanned.
ReplyDeleteI had no idea that Nivea has dry shampoo. So, I am happy to know that they now carry one as I use dry shampoo from time to time. Thank you for sharing this.
ReplyDeleteI have never actually used dry shampoo before and did not know that Nivea did one, I will have a look into this x
ReplyDeleteGood idea, when you feel like it, just put the hat. Well, if you got any event, that would be awesome haha.
ReplyDeleteDry shampoo is certainly handy, however, which impact does it have on the environment? That's a very important factor for me. I'm using solid shampoo - this way, I'm avoiding plastic.
ReplyDeleteAs usual, a fun post! I have oily hair, too and these shampoos are great to help you skip at least a day of washing. My hair is even more oily now that it is natural (for the first time in like two decades, I stopped dying it just to remind myself what my natural hair color was) I will try Nivea dry shampoo for sure. I bet it smells great like all Nivea products.
ReplyDeleteI use nivea lotion and cream, never thought of using the shampoo. I have smoothened my hair so have all the shampoo restrictions. The nivea products have a nice cool smell, thats really envious.
ReplyDeleteI have never tried dry shampoo, or even considered it. I have long hair, and it can take a lot of shampoo and conditioner to make it through everything. So I wonder if dry shampoo would be a good choice, or if I would end up using too much? I'll have to give it a try and see if it works or not.
ReplyDeleteHaha I'm not much for hat wearing so I opt for dry shampoo or to just pull my hair out of my face! I'm lucky though, I don't have greasy hair and can wash it twice a week and manage well! Since my hair is dyed it can't handle too frequent washing. Dry shampoo is perfect for extending it a couple extra days when needed.
ReplyDeleteI like wearing hat but it is not in in India. However, I have never tried nivea Im all Loreal person but your review is good!
ReplyDeleteYou are so lovely, Lyosha<3 I am a big fan of Nivea product, but I haven't used the dry shampoo yet! That sounds so great :)

I never tried any dry shampoo, and I am intrigue coz here in Australia it seems like it is necessary, with so many brands of dry shampoo available. Maybe I should try that brand you've used.
