While I still have not finished fashion event post, I still shelf it because I still haven't worked through all the photos. I promise it will be my next post.
And so far I want to talk to you about my new latest add into Nivea collection. A set of organic rose face mask, eye patches, mist-toner and deodorant. I absolutely love the scent each product has: it definitely is a rose.
Face mask: for me sheet masks are a way of pamper I don't expect it to work wonders. It is soft and easy to apply with lots of products. The nose runs a little too small for me but most of people doesn't have a big nose so it's ok
Eye patches. Smells roses, easy to apply, holds pretty firm and have classic shape.
Mist-toner. My personal favorite. Rose water is said to be good for skin and I enjoy it a lot in general. Here I can totally feel it working. My skin is oily and it works nicely for me even as stand alone, if you have a dry skin you will probably want to add something else which is ok because after all who uses toner as stand alone. The applicator is pretty handy too: I use it with fingers to put it more evenly and can easily skip the pad (so I don't have to wash it which I often feel lazy to).
Deodorant. Packaging is everything there: so cute! I love the fat kitty and the funny blue note. It has a rose sent as well and works nicely for daily matters. You might want something stronger if you do sports though.

Nivea is a trusted name when it comes to beauty products in the market place and to remain current you need to keep innovating so I'm glad that they are constantly keeping up with beauty trends.

ReplyDeleteI like Nivea products mostly because it's mild and very skin friendly. My favorite is the in-shower lotion. Mostly because I often forget (and really don't like the sticky feel of) body lotion.

DeleteI've always had such a soft spot for Nivea products! The scent reminds me of holidays when I was a kid because my Mum always used to buy their sunscreen and the skincare is amazing (apparently some of it is a great dupe for the much pricier La Mer!).

ReplyDeleteI love face masks when I want to pamper myself and relax. I didn't know Nivea made them, but the rose smell sounds pretty amazing. Definitely something I'll be trying out myself. Like you, I've used many Nivea products throughout my life, and they are so worth it. It is amazing to have a brand that isn't insanely expensive but still works wonderfully.

ReplyDeleteI agree with you, when I'm looking at sheet masks, I'm not expecting the same 'wow factor' in terms of the impact it has on my face that I do with a standard face mask. They are more about the experience, helping me to relax and feel a little pampered in the moment. This one sounds like a great option - I'm going to have to grab one for my next 'me' day!

I love nivea products. I don't run out of Nivea Q10, it's a great moisturizer and a great product for skin building.

ReplyDeleteI love anything that has the scent of rose! In fact, my go-to scent for just about everything is my rose essential oil from Eden's Garden. I honestly can't say I've ever used Nivea products, but you said the magic word "rose" so now I'll have to check it out!
