I am very excited! This is an actual outfit I wore outside. Postpartum hits me hard with my own impatience and lack of movement. My body needs time to heal but it also screams of lack of movement and activity inflicted. It's also hard mentally. My mind feels great while my body feels good but I have to be very patient and limit myself not inflict any damage. For example, this weekend we went on a picnic date together. First time as a family of 3 humans! I am overjoyed. It's funny how much simply wearing a cute dress, a necklace and putting on some makeup can change make an impact. After all I am writing a whole post about it! And I actually posted a reel on my socials. Talking about being bored.
Here is the closeup pf my makeup and also necklace. Yes, my eyeliner is with Hello Kitty. I actually LOVE Hello Kitty. Confessions!
I was wearing:
Marc by Marc Jacobs dress
custom made handmade necklace made by y friend Genevra
Fila sneakers
Have a nice day,
Lyosha
Oh mama, I hear you! It was hard the first few months of motherhood for me too. But trust me, it does get better. One day at a time! And yes, I agree. Putting on a cute dress and a bit of makeup really does wonders for the psyche.

DeleteThat is such a cute dress on you! And I agree, it's nice to get out the house with a little one, even if it's just for a picnic, it's good to try get back into the normal routine :)

ReplyDeleteomg this must have felt amazing to finally be able to go out as a family of 3. I am so happy for you...
ReplyDeleteWow a wonderful day out in style and looks like you had a great time! Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteThe dress looks very classy - picnic in style ;-) I remember very well how you have to re-adjust after having a baby. But time is on your side ;-)
ReplyDeleteI love the look. Enjoy your family time. Nothing is more important.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations for having a little angel! You look fabulous as ever. I like how you did your eyeliner!
ReplyDeleteYou look good, congrats on your new bundle of joy! And oh, I loveee Hello Kitty too. Love it!
ReplyDeletethank you so much! we are overjoyed with having a daughter. Yay to Hello Kitty lovers too!
DeleteYou look great! The dress looked good on you too! Im sure the three of you had an awesome time.
ReplyDeleteIt is so good to see you moving and enjoying life. A picnic is a good time to celebrate a slow-down time for your family of three now. The marathons and alike will happen in their due time.
ReplyDeleteWow! You gave birth already. Congratulations and happy to see you enjoying your family time. Take care and don't forget to take some rest too.
ReplyDeletethanks so much! I rest a lot and taking it easy but staying at home full time is not easy on me so park and such are essential
DeleteI'm so happy that you and your family can get out and enjoy yourselves!
ReplyDeleteSo glad you enjoyed your time! Looks fun!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations!!! You'll be moving more and more as your body heals. Love the dress it is super cute!!!
ReplyDeletethanks so much! I know but (I think you get me here as well) it's hard being patient and move very little all of the sudden. I had a rather small belly so I could move around a lot right before I gave birth. It actually had the downside now when I really have to limit myself.
DeleteOh wow! How did I miss the fact that you were even pregnant? Like how? Congratulations!!!!!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much! I only shared the fact that I was pregnant in April so it was easy to miss. I had a small belly and with love to oversize and loose fit it was easy to hide it for a long time. Due to cultural moments I didn't really enjoy my pregnancy before I moved to Mexico where I started loving it and embracing it full on
DeleteThat dress looks lovely and the necklace your friend made looks fantastic! So sweet you got the baby out to enjoy some time outdoors.
ReplyDeleteAwe I’m so sorry to hear about the postpartum depression. It can take a huge toll. I love that dress and necklace combination
ReplyDeleteI don't have a postpartum depression. Sorry if I misled you to think that. I had a c-section and it means for 6 weeks or more I can't maintain the lifestyle I have had before in terms of movement. It's also a bit boring to stay home most of time too, not mentioning the swelling and discomfort from the scar as well as the need to ask for help all the time as I can't lift or pull stuff.
DeleteYou look amazing for just having a baby! I know limiting yourself can be so difficult when all you want to do is go. You'll get back to normal quickly, just try to be patient (I'm not any better at that than you are) and it'll happen sooner than you expect. Enjoy the little moments like this picnic with your family.
ReplyDeleteThis looks like such a blast!
