Vintage Bridesmaid Dresses

Hello my stylish Friends!
Two weeks ago Max and I attended to our friends' wedding. We can be proud as it was us who introduced them. Although we were not wearing suits and cocktail dresses I thought it would be fun to imagine who it would be like if I was to be a bridesmaid (and I actually never really was one). If it happened I'd wear one of the vintage bridesmaid dresses. This time I've chosen a wonderful place to window-shop  fantasize about it with wonderful Dressv shop. Why that should be a vintage bridesmaid dress? I love vintage and retro touches in dress design and I think that's a prefect opportunity to stand out but not too much on wedding. Depending on overall wedding mood I've chosen 3 possibilities of dress for me.
First is more official, more serious wedding day. In that case I'd go for longer bridesmaid dresses like this one.

I think what is the most important is to wear a color which is rich and fits all of the bridesmaids. Although I do love when bridesmaids are all wearing bright colors. Ones I saw a wedding with 7 bridesmaids each wearing a same style dress of all color of the rainbow. I think this i sea could work with both bold or pastel versions.
Talking about something more youthful is this dress. This could go if all of bridesmaids are either of the similar body completion or each vintage bridesmaid dress' style is different.

The last option I became in love with on Dressv is this one. You just can't go wrong with this style and it looks so adorable on each young lady. Moreover this dress is a wonderful option if some of bridesmaids are little girls or teenagers.

What would you pick?

For everyone I still didn't answer in their blogs or emails: right now I'm very busy with one geeky activity and would be online on Monday. I promise to tell you everything!

I was wearing in my imagination:

Have a nice day,
Lyosha

More about hats

How did you welcome a new year? I did it calmly with lots of time dedicated to myself. Man, I needed a nice little break here and there, especially as my little one is home for a school break. I have had a lot of fun but I also managed to dig in some interesting information I really want to share with you. I now live in the hot climate and wear hats only for style but I used to wear hats to keep me warm years back. And you know what I am happy I have a choice. These days I wear a lot of bucket hats and baseball hats and occasionally rock a fedora. Do you fancy some hats? I used to wear wool based hats all the time but I never actually didn't try to alter it. recently I found a great way to alter them and get them to fit you perfectly. I would love to share it with you because I know just how much a good fit changes the whole perspective on a life in the cold. I have discovered three fantastic ways to deal with it: hot water pot, shower and washing machine (only applicable on bucke...

VFWR: Day 3, Liza Romanyuk

Next post about Volvo Fashion Week Moscow. I'm  incredibly  slow but I hope you can handle it. I'm going to tell you about my last day at  Volvo  Fashion Week Moscow. It was a pleasant Sunday. The weather was grim so we've been more than happy to finally be inside. Fist show we've seen and the only show I'm sharing in this post (more are to come) was splashing summer energy runaway.I was totally in love. Moreover: VFWM was my very first fashion week ever last season and this season it made me one more  surprise -my first ever backstage entrance. I went with simple yet very comfy outfit in fact caring more about how comfortable I feel than anything else. My legs and back (esp.my poor back) kept telling me they hate me.  The show of Liza Romanyuk was very various. It came with different themes taking both clothes and music, even the light for catwalk and designer sign walls were slightly changed. Dreamy start Patterns and tons of fun ...

Still can't skate

Each year they set up a free artificial ice skating area as part of Christmas village in our city. I have tried it several times before and could never figure it out. But it is fun anyways. There is something in doing something horribly without any shame. I am not trying to excel in it and for some reason it it truly deeply liberating. What do you think? I wore simple and comfy outfit. Cropped top with Nightmare before Christmas print (it is Christmas theme for me, ok), comfortable back cargo pants and sneakers. You can not really top that. I was wearing: Cuidado con el Perro top and pants Converse shoes   Have a nice day, Lyosha
