Ball Dresses
Very soon my favorite event of the season starts. It's surely local Fashion Week. While I'm very excited to attend it and can't wait to see all the shows I marked in my list as I want to see with own eyes. And actually it's even a little hard to live of today. To create outfit to wear today to go for a walk or something like that. I'm there and I'm planning outfits. As pleasing as it might be (or might not actually) I try to refocus myself on something more productive. That's why today I want to share some inspiration. When I look for inspiration I normally try something fancy. Why? because it's safe. I don't try  to add something new in my closet and it always inspire greatly. I don't really want to wear a big long fancy ball or prom dress or even a wedding dress but would love to imagine myself wearing it. That's why today I have brought you a spot featuring wonderful dresses from the shop called Pickedlooks I haven't heard of them before but it looks very pleasing. The styles are fresh I don't see the copy-cats all the time (it often happens so with online stores where they offer us to buy fakes from famous red carpet gowns). There are a lot of styles to choose from and if you really need a dress of your liking I'm pretty sure you'll find your perfect dress there without any problems. Also they offer custom size which is very pleasing as well esp if you wear uncommon size like I do. When you can simply order the dress in size you need instead of altering is truly easier and helps to keep the costs low. Today I want to share with you my find from the shop, my top three inspiring ball dresses NZ

Very nice dress! I like how simple it is and how nicely it looks. It doesn't ask much of you and gives you a lot of space to play with. I'm very happy with this dress I think It might be great in my closet.

Very summer option, suitable as a wedding dress as well. I like floral embroidery here the most.

During my post about Worldwide Fashion Day in Moscow I didn't feature my own look. There've been couple of reasons for that and the main was that I've just had only one picture of me taken by lovely photographer Lyudmila Bureeva  during the event. So I need to shoot my own look properly and that's what Max and I did. Not to make this post too much of my outfit and that's it I've decided to add couple of my favourite closeups from fashion show. taken by Lyudmila Bureeva My outfit was created with a huge help from wonderful shop Choies who sponsored me and my blog provided me with this lovely dress. it's a little shorter than I expected (and I'm short in general so I'm not used to all this mini-stuff) but looks way better than I expect it to look. that's because it fitted lovely. I've  decided  to go for total velvet-like look so I paired this velvet owl dress with my old  corduroy  jacket and shoes. Thanks for everyone who made th...

Happy Halloween

Don't you just loove  Halloween ?everybody does! This year we made it very special  decorating  everything, cutting a huge pumpkin and creating yammy  Halloween  food. We've celebrated this holiday at the exact date October 31st at home with friends. I chose the costume of intelligent witch (yeap, jedi costumes are not fair for Halloween) and finally worn my little black dress I wear so seldom. Max decided to come to usual role of ordinary Murre vampire. He's the best in this part.  Our little ghost this is my entery for IFB project #70 I was wearing: little black dress I own since I was 9 years old (I still more than fit in it) Topshop hat Jeffrey Campbell heels Chanel makeup   Have a nice day, Lyosha

So cold!

Winter sure is a harsh season for any person living in the northern parts of the world. The temperature hits below 0 C, there is a lot of snow and such... It might be tempting to pretend to be a bear and stay at home doing nothing. But you definitely shouldn't do that. Relax, go out and do your best to enjoy the current weather. Or at least make yourself move as fast as possible to move from point A to point B and enjoy your life when you are finally at the place of destination. The key is to get dressed properly. Try more layers or use very warm items. Also thermal underwear (the simplest and cheapest being Heattech from Uniqlo) might help a lot. As for me I mix warmer items, layering and smart materials to achieve the best result. Today I post my little outfit I wore on Friday. Met with my family, did some shopping and went to gym. Overall I was spending a fair amount of time outside so I needed to stay warm. Surely being a blogger I couldn't avoid desire to still look...
