MBFWRussia, part 1.1


For every person deeply in love with fashion attending fashion week feels vital. I never plan anything of October because for me it’s fashion weeks in Moscow time. Today I want to share my experience of Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Russia (not all, its just my first day, moreover the first half of it.
The highlight of the day are two wonderful shows! First was very inspiring and important. It was called Generation M (Pokolenie M) presented by MTS. It is a charity project to help teenagers in need. Some of them received a chance to create their own fashion collection and show it on MBFWRussia catwalk! Incredible experience for anyone but that’s not all: each had a well established and famous Russian designer to help carry the collection. I loved it!

RU: Для каждого человека, влюбленного в моду, посещение недель моды кажется жизненной необходимостью. Я никогда не планирую ничего на октябрь, потому что в этом месяце проходят Недели Моды. Сегодня я хочу поделиться мои опытом на Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Russia (не всй, конечно, а лишь первым днём, даже скорее первой половиной первого дня). Главным в тот день для меня оказались два показа. Первый был вдохновляющим и очень важным, потому что говорил о будущем. Проект Поколение М, представленный при поддержке компании МТС, представил свои коллекции одежды. Это благотворительный проект, направленный на помощь подросткам. Некоторые из них получили уникальный шанс создать собственную коллекцию одежды и показать её на главной неделе моды России. Невероятный опыт для любого ребенка, но проект этим не ограничился: чтобы создать эту поллекцию у каждого юного дизайнера появился наставник, уважаемый и известный дизайнер России. Великолепно!

    I love your skeleton tee! Very fitting for October with Halloween, ha! I saw that pic on instagram and I liked it there too, it was nice to see more of the tee here on your blog.

    Sounds like an awesome opportunity for an aspiring designer too to be featured in that show! :)

    Hope you're having a lovely weekend! We got outside to enjoy the sun a little today which was nice, after a tough day yesterday with an unwell toddler! He does feel a little better now :)

Still can't skate

Each year they set up a free artificial ice skating area as part of Christmas village in our city. I have tried it several times before and could never figure it out. But it is fun anyways. There is something in doing something horribly without any shame. I am not trying to excel in it and for some reason it it truly deeply liberating. What do you think? I wore simple and comfy outfit. Cropped top with Nightmare before Christmas print (it is Christmas theme for me, ok), comfortable back cargo pants and sneakers. You can not really top that. More about hats

How did you welcome a new year? I did it calmly with lots of time dedicated to myself. Man, I needed a nice little break here and there, especially as my little one is home for a school break. I have had a lot of fun but I also managed to dig in some interesting information I really want to share with you. I now live in the hot climate and wear hats only for style but I used to wear hats to keep me warm years back. And you know what I am happy I have a choice. These days I wear a lot of bucket hats and baseball hats and occasionally rock a fedora. Do you fancy some hats? I used to wear wool based hats all the time but I never actually didn't try to alter it. recently I found a great way to alter them and get them to fit you perfectly. I would love to share it with you because I know just how much a good fit changes the whole perspective on a life in the cold. Walk the river

Today I want to tell about vacation of mine. I don't want to start chronologically instead I want to show you the best day ever we spend in Gelendgik area. It was a day full of walking swimming and fun. We went to a special nature area park build around river Zhane. Mountains and absolutely dreamy rocks everywhere with waterfalls and baths. The scenery is so dreamy I just couldn't help it! So let the photo speak for themselves. We actually swam in the river. So refreshing and totally wild. I was so impressed that I felt like sea is only a so-so place for swimming after magic rivers Zhane and Pshada (I'll tell you about it in my next post). I wore my wonderful romper I take with me on most of the trips (it asked for no space and fits perfectly. Flipflops make walking around the rocket harder but if you need to step onto the river all the times it is an optimal choice.
