Russian ECo Week part 1

I think it's vital we protect our home. Not only the place you live in on bigger scale. I'm not a big talker about ecological matters - I am no guru in trying your best to live with eco-awareness and not someone who just discovered each of you can actually do something and is eager to pass on new knowledge. But I do what I can with little steps I am making everyday like not using paper as much as I can: no plastic bags, choosing recycled products, switching of water while brushing my teeth etc. But in terms of spreading the eco-awareness I do what I can do best: attending Russian Eco Week, listening to smart people talks, watching eco fashion shows (which is a topic I will show more closely) and showing it to you. This year Eco Fashion Week did not unfortunately fully happened but we still are able to see some part of it through Russia Eco Week. For example right after the opening ceremony general public and journalists seen the MKMM (the contest for young designers) showing their eco themed fashion shows! I was most impressed with number of ideas and clothes made from recycled components (I didn't fully understand what exactly was made of and what actually was recycled). Also I just have to highlight and especially mention collection made of dog fur. It must be so warm!

As for my outfit I picked a warm sweatshirt, warm pants, coat and a hat because it's already fall and spending an hour and a half taking photos almost without a motion is tricky if you want to stay healthy.

I was wearing:
Calvin Klein bag and sweatshirt
Uniqlo jeans
Mango coat
thriefted boots (from Amsterdam)
not branded (yet my favorite) cap

Have a nice day,
Lyosha

Mixing, remixing and matching. That's what we do so often that don't actually understand. I love feeling comfy and stylish at the same time so I need some remixing with cool comfy pants. That's why I tend to wear same pants so often esp when it goes to everyday life. I'm sorry but I'm not the one who snaps outfits everyday (I'm in Russia which means that I leave home for work when it's still dark and come back when it's dark already) so many out my ideas or layers stay not seen, This is an outfit that made it. Max and I went to get some shopping therapy to local mall. Our small camera was with us so we went to kid's sectore and took some photos. Why not?     I was wearing: Jacket c/o Oasap Glasses c/o Firmoo Pants c/o Motel Rocks Shoes Alba Coat Desigual   Have a nice day, Lyosha

Still can't skate

Each year they set up a free artificial ice skating area as part of Christmas village in our city. I have tried it several times before and could never figure it out. But it is fun anyways. There is something in doing something horribly without any shame. I am not trying to excel in it and for some reason it it truly deeply liberating. What do you think? I wore simple and comfy outfit. Cropped top with Nightmare before Christmas print (it is Christmas theme for me, ok), comfortable back cargo pants and sneakers. You can not really top that. I was wearing: Cuidado con el Perro top and pants Converse shoes   Have a nice day, Lyosha

So cold!

Winter sure is a harsh season for any person living in the northern parts of the world. The temperature hits below 0 C, there is a lot of snow and such... It might be tempting to pretend to be a bear and stay at home doing nothing. But you definitely shouldn't do that. Relax, go out and do your best to enjoy the current weather. Or at least make yourself move as fast as possible to move from point A to point B and enjoy your life when you are finally at the place of destination. The key is to get dressed properly. Try more layers or use very warm items. Also thermal underwear (the simplest and cheapest being Heattech from Uniqlo) might help a lot. As for me I mix warmer items, layering and smart materials to achieve the best result. Today I post my little outfit I wore on Friday. Met with my family, did some shopping and went to gym. Overall I was spending a fair amount of time outside so I needed to stay warm. Surely being a blogger I couldn't avoid desire to still look...
