Graduates show


I love seeing how Russian fashion grows into something bigger. It is progressing year after year and I am always impressed with it. That is why I believe Russian Fashion shouldn't stop. That's why I am always looking forward finding new names and ideas. This time I wanted to share with you the most 'new' designers I could come through. These are the students. In fact it is the show by fashion design graduates of Sovremennaya Shkola Deziana (Modern School of Design), more over it's the diploma project. I liked the shows a lot as well new full pledged designers. I am proud of them!

Here are the highlights of their small yet beautiful collections.













As for my outfit I have chosen a very casual look. A white blouse is always an option for me. Warm and cozy velvet pants paired with white bag completed the look. What do you think?

    Those are all very pretty. I like fashion that you can wear on any day rather than the crazy stuff you see on runways (although that has its place).

    Russian fashion industry is every evolving. I also love Russian fashion illustrators and artists, many of them they have a unique style.

    Those are lovely! I always enjoy seeing the work of young designers - and watch them balance their imagination and our needs. I love the color blocking in the first picture, for instance - but those other dresses are something I could wear to work... LOL

Mixing, remixing and matching. That's what we do so often that don't actually understand. I love feeling comfy and stylish at the same time so I need some remixing with cool comfy pants. So cold!

Winter sure is a harsh season for any person living in the northern parts of the world. The temperature hits below 0 C, there is a lot of snow and such... It might be tempting to pretend to be a bear and stay at home doing nothing. But you definitely shouldn't do that. Relax, go out and do your best to enjoy the current weather. Or at least make yourself move as fast as possible to move from point A to point B and enjoy your life when you are finally at the place of destination. The key is to get dressed properly. Try more layers or use very warm items. Also thermal underwear (the simplest and cheapest being Heattech from Uniqlo) might help a lot. As for me I mix warmer items, layering and smart materials to achieve the best result. Today I post my little outfit I wore on Friday. Met with my family, did some shopping and went to gym. Overall I was spending a fair amount of time outside so I needed to stay warm. Surely being a blogger I couldn't avoid desire to still look...

The sea

For our vaction we've chosen the country with the sea. Actually  we wanted some rest and expected a verycalm vacation like laying on the beach and swimming the sea all day long. It didn't work out for it's boring for both of us but you caught the main idea. I was very happy to buy this beach dress! it's so sexy and comfy! and what is the most exciting it looks great being oversized! yay for belts, girls! The photos I'm going to show are the shots of two days. the photos where I'm in the dress are from the beach near our hotel and the swim-suit are from the Great Beaches (or Veliki Plyazh). The sand is grey there it's volcanic and said to be healthy. I don't know if it's true but it's fun for sure. We've been acting like kids there, building the sand castles, running and laying on the sand and playing the water (it's not deep at all, I was already tired of walking when the water was berely at my tummy). oh, how I wish we had the extra da...
