MBFWRussia, day 1


I am so very happy with a start of fashion week in Moscow. Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Russia is a major event and each fashion related person feels very dedicated to it locally. It is always a joy to get to meet both new and well known designers, to see the new talents or to see the way it evolves. Each is precious and dear to me. Today was the first day of it and I will make sure to show you something each day. If you want some more first person experience head out to my Instagram page for stories: I'll have it covered.

The first day was short to me but I wanted it that way. It is all about the show from Global Talents series (I will cover some more this season as well) from designers AWS (After Work Studios). It was a very pleasing and creative casual style fashion show. I loved the coats and jackets as well bright bold dresses. Do you like it too?
RU: Первый день для меня был коротким, но я так и хотела. Это был показ в рамках Global talents (я покажу ещё несколько таких показов в этом сезоне) от дизайнеров AWS (After Work Studios). очень приятное и креативное шоу с повседневной одеждой. Мне очень понравились пальто и жакеты, а так же яркие платья. А вам как?










My outfit is casual as well. Simple jacket I haven't worn for ages and my favorite lately fall colored palette. I only wish my shoes were better because it is time to say good buy to those oldies.
RU: Я была одета так же в стиле кэжуал. Простой блейзер, который я не носила кучу времени в любимой мною в последнее время цветовой палитре. Я хотела бы, чтобы моя обувь была лучше, ведь это последний выход этой пары, нам пришлось проститься.

    I love your outfit and it fits perfectly for this occasion! Smart casual with a jacket and always great to wear a jacket and you never know it may get a little chill inside the building.

    I have never been to a fashion show, but I love watching shows on television. I loved the coats and dresses you took pictures of. I wonder if I'll get to experience this... I'm not much in tune with the fashion scene--whether local or international.

So cold!

Winter sure is a harsh season for any person living in the northern parts of the world. The temperature hits below 0 C, there is a lot of snow and such... It might be tempting to pretend to be a bear and stay at home doing nothing. But you definitely shouldn't do that. Relax, go out and do your best to enjoy the current weather. Or at least make yourself move as fast as possible to move from point A to point B and enjoy your life when you are finally at the place of destination. The key is to get dressed properly. Try more layers or use very warm items. Also thermal underwear (the simplest and cheapest being Heattech from Uniqlo) might help a lot. As for me I mix warmer items, layering and smart materials to achieve the best result. Today I post my little outfit I wore on Friday. Met with my family, did some shopping and went to gym. Overall I was spending a fair amount of time outside so I needed to stay warm. Surely being a blogger I couldn't avoid desire to still look...

The sea

For our vaction we've chosen the country with the sea. Actually  we wanted some rest and expected a verycalm vacation like laying on the beach and swimming the sea all day long. It didn't work out for it's boring for both of us but you caught the main idea. I was very happy to buy this beach dress! it's so sexy and comfy! and what is the most exciting it looks great being oversized! yay for belts, girls! The photos I'm going to show are the shots of two days. the photos where I'm in the dress are from the beach near our hotel and the swim-suit are from the Great Beaches (or Veliki Plyazh). The sand is grey there it's volcanic and said to be healthy. I don't know if it's true but it's fun for sure. We've been acting like kids there, building the sand castles, running and laying on the sand and playing the water (it's not deep at all, I was already tired of walking when the water was berely at my tummy). oh, how I wish we had the extra da...
