Vienna after 5 years

During my time not home vacation or not I tend to post my adventures from before. This time I will do so too but I really wanted to kick off with a new stuff. Not long before during the trip max and I took some time off and enjoyed Vienna. Actually we booked a connection flight with a huge hole in the middle so we could get out of the airport and wonder around the city. It was not our first time there so we did really enjoy some extra time in the city, remembering the first trip. But our main attraction and the main reason to get out the airport and making our flight that long was the desire to see the Durer exhibition in Vienna's famous Albertina. Durer is a special artist to me, I have a soft spot for him. I used to have a book I got from my mother (who is a big lover as well) on my book shelf opened during my university days. I flipped the images to match the mood and moment, for example I used to have Melancholy opened during the exams. It was absolutely incredible to see the actual paintings.

My outfit was warm and multilayered. I wanted to wear more spacey items on me and more items on me actually so I basically made this outfit not thinking too much about fashion even though I do find it pretty. And You?
This post is not complete without some photos from the trip. I know you want to see some outdoors and museum too

I was wearing:
Monki sweater and pants
c/o Glasseshop glasses
Caterpillar shoes
Cheap Monday vest

Have a nice day,
Lyosha

  1. I saw this picture of you with the wings on Instagram and thought it was the coolest image. I love that you have a deep connection to this artist from childhood and took time to travel to see the exhibit. That is what art is all about. I'd love to see VIenna one day.

  2. Gorgeous spaces and paintings (and your outfit rocks, too). I haven't yet been to Vienna, but it's on my list. So much to enjoy. Thanks for sharing your trip!

  4. Okay, now those were some interesting shots! I really like the wings that the artist painted. I never heard of him before. I also like the memory you have associated with the artist of your mom and the book she gave you that you kept out at college and switched up depending upon your mood. That sounds like a nice memory.

  5. That sounds like an incredible way to make the most out of a layover. We've done similar before, planning a dinner reconnecting with friends somewhere during a layover, or a specific place that we want to check out. Why not make the most of it rather than seeing it as an inconvenience? Right?

  9. I was just reading about someone talking about taking an extra-long airport layover to take time and explore the city they are in. That is such a great idea! That isn’t something I had ever thought of when traveling. You clearly know what you’re doing to make the most of a trip as well! I’m glad you had such a great visit.

    1. it really is a great idea. also such flights are often cheaper than regular 'faster' options. bonus points for stop over in expensive area: you don't have to book anything for a stay. the only real disadvantage is how tire you are after

Jaime Ibiza Fashion show

It's been awhile since I have visited a  fashion show. I am so excited to get to see it from time to time here. This time I was happy enjoy and bag and luggage fashion show. The designer is pretty famous here in Mexico. He is from Guadalajara. I absolutely enjoyed the spectacle and the bags. I can easily see me rocking any of those!  Luggage collection was a special surprice. It is the first and new collection and it features cute styles, great quality and interesting shapes to carry you stuff the best way possible making trips even more enjoyable. I wore a very casual look. All brows, cute little back and comfortable shoes. I didn't get to wear something special because I was on a  go and in a bit of a hurry as I have had things to do right after. It was a great experience. I hope to see more fashion shows here. I was wearing: Cuidado con el Perro skirt and shoes MiuMiu bag H&M top   Have a nice day, Lyosha

Ruinas El Rey

Archeological site El Rey is located in the Cancun hotel zone, right next to the most scenic beach in my opinion playa Delfines. The part of the ancient town is actually located in the nearby museum Museo Maya Cancun (if you ever visit it, don't forget to also check the ruins in the garden). But the original town was a lot more than what you see in the museum. I highly suggest you to walk a little bit further and explore the ruins of the right hand side right after playa Delfines. It is a very tranquil place with lots of iguanas for the inthuiasts and ruins to explore. the entrance is inexpensive as well. My family had a lot of fun exploring the small ruins of our town. I have chosen to wear my favorite wideleg jeans, a crop top and practical closed shoes (I always suggest some soft of closed toes shoes to explore the ruins, it allows you to move freely without worring to hurt your  feet). Definitely perfect for a relaxing weekend I was wearing:   Have a nice day...

Nicosia crush

I normally post my vacation reports when I am on other vacation but what are the rules if not break them from time to time. Today I want to share with you some special moment of trip to Cyprus last month. I finally reached Nicosia, the Cyprus capital and met a fellow blogger. Nicosia is not only a capital but also the only capital divided in two: Cyprus part and Turkish part. But it is not the only nice thing about it. The city is beautiful and made for walking. It is so nice and easy to simply walk around the narrow streets wondering what next corner will bring. Great place to hang out especially accompanied with local guide and a fellow fashion blogger. I was so happy I spent my day in Nicosia that I wanted to share it with you the soonest. So here it is.   My outfit was based on the weather. I wore my yoga leggings and top from Tonica (yes, guilty of over wearing but it is just too comfy), Uniqlo vest because it is the best ever thing to keep yourself warm,...
