I didn't actually need to do that but feel like I want to. Not long ago I was given a hair mask for a review on Instagram by GeorgieMane. I liked the mask so much I realized my Instagram doesn't give me enough space for this (because we all hate huge captions). And there you have it a big review on my blog.
Winter is hard for your skin and hair due to low temperatures. Even this year when it's hard below zero in Moscow you hair and skin need more attention. I maintain my skin routine as closely as I can and I am happy with the way my skin looks now. My hair would love some extra. So when I was contacted by the brand to try and review the product I couldn't refuse.
First of all it is cruelty free and vegan brand. It is very important nowadays for me because I do try to be eco friendly as possible and think a lot about it. It is made in Australia so my Aussie reader should be extra happy with it (support local is eco friendly too). No silicons and parabens.
Second of all it worked nicely on me. My hair look more shiny and are very silky when I touch it. It is what I hoped for! No need to cut the ends any time soon (a huge bonus for people who what to grow hair a little longer). My strait hair loved it!
Third point is smell. It really does smell lovely and the faint scent is kept on my hair for several hours after.
Forth strong point is the quantity of product needed. I didn't aim to economize the mask and really applied a lot on my hair (it dries fast so while I was taking photos a big part of it was not that obvious) and I used roughly a half of what I used with my similar before.
Fifth point is not something I tested but I think it is important to mention: it is fully suitable to use if you hair are dyed and/or chemically treated.
And you only need 10 minutes!
And you only need 10 minutes!
Have a nice day,
Lyosha
My skin and hair get sooo dry in the winter! I've tried a few different hair masks, but I haven't managed to find one yet that works for me. I love that this one is cruelty-free and natural!
ReplyDeleteI've never used a hair mask, but my hair is TOTALLY a member of the dry hair club at the moment. I will look into it - also love the ethical nature of this one!
ReplyDeleteThis hair mask looks really good. I will order some for my other half. I can wait to feel some silky smooth hair.
ReplyDeleteI wonder if i can use this hair mask as well, my hair feels a bit weaker these days not sure why!
ReplyDeleteNever heard about this products. I love a good old hair mask. I think they are a essential to a good hair care routine.
ReplyDeleteI’ve never tried a hair mask but I’ve heard they’re really good for dry hair. I really must give it a go sometime.
ReplyDeleteI like the look of this hair mask. My hair texture has changed over the years. (A by product of getting older lol). I long for smooth, silky hair again. Maybe I should give this a try.
ReplyDeleteI have never heard of this product before but it sounds like a good one for me to try, will def checking this out.
ReplyDeleteThat sounds like such a lovely product, and it's great that you're trying to be as eco-friendly as possible while taking care of yourself! I should do more hair masks too but get lazy ;)
ReplyDeleteThat looks like a really good hair mask! I like that it made your hair feel soft and silky. That's what I want my hair to be during harsh weather conditions. I want to try this mask myself!
ReplyDeleteThis sounds like a great hair mask. I love that it only takes 10 minutes. That's very convenient.
ReplyDeleteThis sounds like an incredible option, and I love that it's vegan and cruelty-free. The fact that more people are searching for these options really challenges the industry to produce more, it's a huge positive shift! Over the last couple years I made a shift in the hair dye that I was using to a vegan, cruelty-free product and I love it.
ReplyDeletethat's awesome! You did great!
DeleteI have to try this one, I hope I can find it in Italy!

ReplyDeleteWow! I've never used or heard of hair mask before. But reading this, I'm sure my hair could use one. It's so dry and ends come off anytime I comb it. It hasn't feel like mine since child birth. If there's anybway I can get my hand on this, I'll love it.
ReplyDeleteI love hair masks and this one is very fast! I should try it!
ReplyDeleteThe hair mask looks like a great idea. The product looks impressive. I think I'll gift one to my wife and give her a good surprise.

ReplyDeleteWow only 10 minutes AND it works on color treated hair?! Sign me up I could totally use that hair mask considering my hair is bleached blonde and I want to prevent damage.
ReplyDeleteI could use this! My hair has been a little dry lately due to the weather, and the last hair mask I used did nothing but turn my hair into an even bigger frizz ball than normal.
ReplyDeleteI have this exact hair mask sitting on my dresser. I was a little nervous to give it a shot, but now that I've read your comments, I'll try it soon.
ReplyDeleteI would definitely try this. My hair is always dry and so is my husband's. He has curls...I wonder how it would work for curly hair?
ReplyDeleteI can't say, my hair are very straight. but they state it works equally on any hair type
