Can you believe it? I stole these pants from my husband. Yes, I did wanted to look like late XIX century homeless boy. Colorful and no jacket but close enough, don't you think?
What is also fun about this photoset is the location. It's right next to the local park entrance. The park is closed and anyway it's too far from our door anyway as per regulation we can not go further than 100 meters. I never payed much attention to it because the park is way more exciting than a tiny spot next parking lot, park entrance and subway bridge. Check out the two photos below: basically the stairs and the tree are right in front of each other, literally couple of meters apart. It's funny how much new and exciting you can find in close proximity if you care to look.
As I have already mentioned before my pants are stolen. My vest is very old (I refuse to think it's about 13 years old now). My shoes are my favorite running shoes, I did 4 half-marathons wearing them last year. I wanted to run badly all the time. I have a tiny but growing collection of similar hats (My husband calls it a JoJo hat, referring to JoJo's Bizarre Adventures) and the top I wore is my most casual top from Monki. One of the very rare items I have in different colors (orange, dark green and navy).
I thought it was cold outside so I originally wore a jacket as well. it wasn't needed but still here is a photo with it. Also do you like my braids?
Bonus: camera man showing off his mad hat skills:
Uniqlo jeans
Topman suspenders
not branded vest (very old)
c/o Rosegal hat
Monki top
Asics running shoes
c/o Zaful jacket

ReplyDeleteI really like these outfits obtained with the help of small "thefts" in the closets of our HIM!
I often take my husband clothes. I have fun to create outfits like that as well.
ReplyDeleteI wear my husband's clothes all the time, they look great on you. I would love to send you a T-shirt to share with your readers.
ReplyDeleteIt's a very cute look! You actually pulled it off. I would fit in my husbands pants coz I have really big hips.
ReplyDeleteShh, what he doesn't know won't hurt him. You look great!
ReplyDeleteSuch a cute way to wear jeans. I like this style
ReplyDeletehow cute! You looks so very comfy, which is my style - comfy above it all! I would not fit into my husband's pants though, I am 5'4" he is 6'1", lol - blessings!
ReplyDeleteWell I love this it looks super comfy and super cute
ReplyDeleteYou look so cute in those pants! I think colorful blouses match them. And also, your braids made you look younger.
ReplyDeleteI have never in my life, worn men's pants! You are so lucky to have that skillful camera man with you for your shoots!
ReplyDeleteLooks amazingly fit to you. I am sure your husband wont mind it. Just wash it properly and place it back to his closet. Btw, show him the pictures and he will surely give you a big hug.
ReplyDeletehe took the pictures so I'm sure he know (OMG!)
DeleteYour pants really suits you! It's so cute!

I like the combination. It's a very retro look.
ReplyDeleteWow....just love your look..these outfits are super cool and looks amazing i am super excited to try this type as soon as possible... (World in Eeys)
ReplyDeleteI really love the way your husband clicks your pictures. You look like a kid in these pictures.
ReplyDeleteI absolutely HATE jeans - HOWEVER. These jeans kinda look like sweats so I feel like I could dig em. My husband is 6'6" and I am 5'2"... Sooooo I am sure if I took his pants, I would look just like this too! haha!
ReplyDeletenailed the height difference. I'm 5'0" and he's 6'3"
DeleteYou were able to make it look fashionable even if those pants were obviously way to big for you. My husband is a foot taller than me, and a whole lot heavier too. If I wore his jeans, I would have to fold the bottom hem up to the level of my knees. Haha.
ReplyDeleteYou totally see it through, the only reason how I still had the pants are the suspenders.
DeleteThis look is playful and suits you. Looks great on you and you been very creative with making this outfit.
ReplyDeleteWearing your husbands pants is such a cool idea, I am sure no one will mind that kind of theft. But they suit you really well and those suspenders look amazing. Overall the casual look that you achieved is commendable
ReplyDeleteOkay, those pants look awesome on you! Love that you were able to borrow them (though stealing them permanently is a solid plan as well) and create something so stylish. You look fabulous!
ReplyDeleteYou nailed it! The newsboy hat especially makes the look perfect! And I always used to steal my husband's comfy sweat pants when I was pregnant!
ReplyDeleteEVery once in a while my jean shirts or my tshirt is stolen either by my wife or daughter which is fair i guess. You look great in the jeans and might create a new trend keep it up. Jerry GOdinho
ReplyDeleteI think domestic theft is a trend
DeleteThis is hilarious and totally unexpected. It looked good on you though. I love sleeping in my husband's shirt!
ReplyDeleteI wear my husbands clothes all the time but I cannot pull it off as flawlessly as you did here!
ReplyDeleteLOL. I could NOT love the title of this post more!!!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun way to wear menswear! it's nice your husband let you have his jeans, and that you could get outside for a little even if you had to stay close to home!
ReplyDeleteHope you are having a great weekend :) We aren't doing much, staying home and staying warm with that cold winter weather that's here!
Away From Blue
You nailed the look, yeah for raiding the hubby's closet, it's a very affordable way to get menswear/ the boyfriend jeans.

Those pants ;looks nice on you. Love your photoshoot, it is really good!
ReplyDeleteYou have managed to create a very interesting look and make those pants fit, with the help of the suspenders. Very creative.
ReplyDeleteI love wearing my husband's clothes, they are way more comfy than my own! Your husbands jeans look great!
ReplyDeleteHaha I love that you stole these pants from your husband. They look super cute on you!
ReplyDeleteLOL you look so silly! You have such a great sense of humor!
ReplyDeleteLol,...You are looking so cute on these pants. hmm, I can try this stealing too.
ReplyDeleteI am notorious for taking my husband's hoodies! They always smell like him and they are just comfy because they're a bigger size. That vest is so cute and I think it will last you at least 13 more years. So cute and original as always!
ReplyDeleteI tend to not be a jeans fan at all...as prefer the trusted leggings. Yopu are rocking these though that is for sure
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun outfit! Sometimes older and/or stolen items are the most comfortable and fun. This look clearly suits you well.
ReplyDeleteIt's a really fun look and the pants look great on you. Also, the location is really cool (and yes, I do like your braids as well). Love it, a great photoshoot overall.
ReplyDeleteSeriously loving these and yes to borrowing clothes - I used to borrow my partners shirts and t-shirts!!
