Zaraysk 2020

August gave so much energy and so many emotions over traveling. Close and far, to new places and not. Last week we have been to Zaraysk, a small town with big story some 150 km from Moscow (still same region though, Russia is big). We have been there last year but we loved it there so much we wanted to come back. And we had o chance to skip it as we are doing Running Series this year and want to run in each possible start this year. We registered on each successfully so all we need now is to actually complete the run.

Zaraysk was first mentioned in 1146 so it's technically older than Moscow. Originally it was a bordertown. Compact but effective fortress (or Kremlin in old-fashioned Russian way)  was built to protect the Ryazan Duchy and later on Great Moscow Duchy from the Tatars. Well this particular Tatar girl thinks she could call this trip a tie or one more win for Zaraysk. Kremlin looks very lively there and my favorite spot, the 1916  water tower gives great view. Bonus points for carless streets and runners making it to the goal are given for sure. I loved just walking around the streets enjoying the small old fashioned houses, sitting by Kremlin walls or looking through 500 year old painting on outer church walls.Zaraysk filled me with tranquility and quiet joy of life, a much needed break of hectic life.

I wore one of my favorite silk shirts. comfortable and roomy skirt (I prefer wearing dresses or skirts after runs so my legs are bare), flip flops are perfect to relax and backpack provided a space to carry around my running uniform, sneakers and water. We traveled there via train and bus so it is a necessity. I highly recommend visiting Zaraysk if you have time and a chance to see it. If you happen to be in Moscow and want to explore the region more deeply it might be a great chance to see less religious and more historical sights.

I was wearing:
Marc by Marc Jacobs shirt
Gap skirt
Adidas flip flops
Nike backpack

Running outfit:
Reebok shorts
Asics shirt and sneakers
Random running belt
CEP running socks

Have a nice day,
Lyosha

  30. Congratulations on your run. Your outfit is super cute and I totally understand the desire to wear something loose fitting or comfortable after you're done. Comfort is key after a good workout or event, isn't it? As for the flip flops, I wear those ALL. THE. TIME., any chance possible. I mean, why not? lol

We have been sticking within an hour or so from home, but it has been really refreshing to get away too. Your skirt looks so comfortable. I'm with you on loose fitting and comfy clothes after exercising.

Jaime Ibiza Fashion show

It's been awhile since I have visited a  fashion show. I am so excited to get to see it from time to time here. This time I was happy enjoy and bag and luggage fashion show. The designer is pretty famous here in Mexico. He is from Guadalajara. I absolutely enjoyed the spectacle and the bags. I can easily see me rocking any of those!  Luggage collection was a special surprice. It is the first and new collection and it features cute styles, great quality and interesting shapes to carry you stuff the best way possible making trips even more enjoyable. I wore a very casual look. All brows, cute little back and comfortable shoes. I didn't get to wear something special because I was on a  go and in a bit of a hurry as I have had things to do right after. It was a great experience. I hope to see more fashion shows here. I was wearing: Cuidado con el Perro skirt and shoes MiuMiu bag H&M top   Have a nice day, Lyosha

Ruinas El Rey

Archeological site El Rey is located in the Cancun hotel zone, right next to the most scenic beach in my opinion playa Delfines. The part of the ancient town is actually located in the nearby museum Museo Maya Cancun (if you ever visit it, don't forget to also check the ruins in the garden). But the original town was a lot more than what you see in the museum. I highly suggest you to walk a little bit further and explore the ruins of the right hand side right after playa Delfines. It is a very tranquil place with lots of iguanas for the inthuiasts and ruins to explore. the entrance is inexpensive as well. My family had a lot of fun exploring the small ruins of our town. I have chosen to wear my favorite wideleg jeans, a crop top and practical closed shoes (I always suggest some soft of closed toes shoes to explore the ruins, it allows you to move freely without worring to hurt your  feet). Definitely perfect for a relaxing weekend I was wearing:   Have a nice day...

VFWR: Day 3, Liza Romanyuk

Next post about Volvo Fashion Week Moscow. I'm  incredibly  slow but I hope you can handle it. I'm going to tell you about my last day at  Volvo  Fashion Week Moscow. It was a pleasant Sunday. The weather was grim so we've been more than happy to finally be inside. Fist show we've seen and the only show I'm sharing in this post (more are to come) was splashing summer energy runaway.I was totally in love. Moreover: VFWM was my very first fashion week ever last season and this season it made me one more  surprise -my first ever backstage entrance. I went with simple yet very comfy outfit in fact caring more about how comfortable I feel than anything else. My legs and back (esp.my poor back) kept telling me they hate me.  The show of Liza Romanyuk was very various. It came with different themes taking both clothes and music, even the light for catwalk and designer sign walls were slightly changed. Dreamy start Patterns and tons of fun ...
