Ridiculous amount: lip balms review

Do you know that I have in ridiculous quantity apart of dog toys and glasses? - Lip balms! I have it in my bags, pockets and workplace. I try to moisturize my lips as often as I can. I also have lots of hand creams but I don't keep it my pockets so it's way-way less in numbers. Can you imagine how happy I was when Nivea offered me to review 3 of their new lip balms? Over excited! Cherry, Strawberry and Mango. I have a hard time picking my favorite. After a week of usage I realized I use mango more often and frankly Cherry is now stolen by my husband (I don't mind). It all smells and tastes very real as well as doing the job on moisturizing my lips. Lip balms are good, the price is affordable. What are you waiting for? Lip balms are a must this season and wearing a mask actually makes my lips drier than usual.

P.S. I am wearing my favorite Halloween top. Totally sets me up for proper mood.
P.P.S. I'll set this post as an example of how long it actually takes to make one good photo of the product, lol.

Have a nice day,
Lyosha

  16. I LIVE for lip balms. I feel like I get dry lips on a regular day, let alone wearing a mask all the time. Mango sounds really interesting - you see a lot of companies putting out strawberry and cherry options, but mango is pretty unique.

  17. Such fun photos! I've never tried Nivea lip balms but I do think lip balm is an essential! I'm a big Luca's paw paw fan because it's made right here in Brisbane, so I'm biased, haha!

Hope that you are having a good week! :)

    1. I never tried Luca's Paw Paw even though I see it all the time because somehow packaging doesn't make me do it. But now I am curious, esp as everything Australia produced is of great quality here.

  18. It is good to keep a great moisturizer around especially for your lips. Being that the weather is getting colder keeping a good balm around to prevent chap would is great! I personally like having a variety of flavors and color pop. Cute photos to dress up with your new balms!

  19. Great review! Due to all these masks I have problems with my lips, but I also can't use any colors as it's destroyed by the mask at once. :)

  27. I freaking LOVE lip balms. But more than anything I am OBSESSED with your top!

  28. I may end up like your husband and steal either the cherry or strawberry if the Nivea Lip Balms taste like the fruits they represent. Though I have to say I am probably the worst at remembering to use them and during colder months often get chapped.

  29. lol I'm on the same boat as you! I love lip balms. I have one every where in my house and my car haha

  30. Unlike bobby pins and socks...I never lose a lip balm. I have them in my purse, my car, at work and one always in my pocket.

  31. I agree with the masks! That and the seasonal change has my skin and lips drying out! Winter is here!

  32. This looks like a really great product! Super beneficial as the weather starts to get colder.

  33. First, I love your top!
Second, I can't blame you for having too many lip-glosses. A girl can have many and that's okay. Besides, I remember a friend telling me about it saying, "at least lip-gloss/lipstick doesn't make you look fat".. I laugh with her insights and realized it is true. Unlike clothes, we can our style according to your mood, fashion taste , and body change, but with lipgloss/lipstick they stay even longer.

  34. I JUST picked some of these up and they are FABULOUSSSSSS! I love them!

  35. That shirt is absolutely adorable! I'm one of those people that always have lip balm on me. I leave one in all my bags, totes, coat pockets you name it, there is lip balm! I'm really into anything mango flavored so I'ld love to try that one :)

  36. To be honest with you, I have given up on wearing lip balm especially with all the mask wearing requirements. However, you do make a good point. I do miss my lip balms, especially the fruity ones. I will not let COVID that the joy out of me wearing lip balms any longer. Thanks for sharing!

  37. Oh I liked the name of the lip balm. I never heard it before. It looks like a good lip balm.

  38. Lip balm is everything, especially during winter! Strawberries are my favourite fruit, so I might just try that — especially since you mentioned that they don't taste like the fake version.

    ReplyDelete
  39. I've been stocking up a lot of lip balm as well (that dry lip/mask life) and I might have to give this brand a try. Normally I stick to cherry, but the mango one sounds like it could be really fun to have around.

  40. Nivea balms and lotions are amazing!

  41. You can never have enough lip balm! I have so many, and hand lotions as well. Loving your shirt too. :)

  43. у меня тоже много было бальзамов от Нивеи. Столько приятных вкусов у бренда

  44. I'm like you, I would end up using the mango one the most. It is definitely the season to have hand creams and lip balms everywhere! I leave them in my vehicle, my purse, my office. I'm never far from any of either one. I have no clue why, but when they are needed, it is like an immediate need and I get irritated by dry skin that I can't moisturize right away.

  45. They sound great, I have been struggling with dry lips this week and should look into it. Love the photos, they are very unique.

Still can't skate

Each year they set up a free artificial ice skating area as part of Christmas village in our city. I have tried it several times before and could never figure it out. But it is fun anyways. There is something in doing something horribly without any shame. I am not trying to excel in it and for some reason it it truly deeply liberating. What do you think? I wore simple and comfy outfit. Cropped top with Nightmare before Christmas print (it is Christmas theme for me, ok), comfortable back cargo pants and sneakers. You can not really top that. I was wearing: Cuidado con el Perro top and pants Converse shoes   Have a nice day, Lyosha

More about hats

How did you welcome a new year? I did it calmly with lots of time dedicated to myself. Man, I needed a nice little break here and there, especially as my little one is home for a school break. I have had a lot of fun but I also managed to dig in some interesting information I really want to share with you. I now live in the hot climate and wear hats only for style but I used to wear hats to keep me warm years back. And you know what I am happy I have a choice. These days I wear a lot of bucket hats and baseball hats and occasionally rock a fedora. Do you fancy some hats? I used to wear wool based hats all the time but I never actually didn't try to alter it. recently I found a great way to alter them and get them to fit you perfectly. I would love to share it with you because I know just how much a good fit changes the whole perspective on a life in the cold. I have discovered three fantastic ways to deal with it: hot water pot, shower and washing machine (only applicable on bucke...

Walk the river

Today I want to tell about vacation of mine. I don't want to start chronologically instead I want to show you the best day ever we spend in Gelendgik area. It was a day full of walking swimming and fun. We went to a special nature area park build around river Zhane. Mountains and absolutely dreamy rocks everywhere with waterfalls and baths. The scenery is so dreamy I just couldn't help it! So let the photo speak for themselves. We actually swam in the river. So refreshing and totally wild. I was so impressed that I felt like sea is only a so-so place for swimming after magic rivers Zhane and Pshada (I'll tell you about it in my next post). I wore my wonderful romper I take with me on most of the trips (it asked for no space and fits perfectly. Flipflops make walking around the rocket harder but if you need to step onto the river all the times it is an optimal choice. Comfy tiny bight blue-green top to finish the outfit alongside with a ca...
