Wow! Long time no post! I definitely eased up my blogging these days. I think my inspiration marathon took a toll. Anyways I am super excited to kick December and am looking forward to give it all to the holiday spirit. I am finalizing my gifts ideas and look forward to add some final stuff (mostly eatable though).
I do hope you will find yourself on top of everything, super happy and super blessed this week. At least that is what I want to wish all of you.
Topic of the day of my actual post is beauty. I have so much of it lately, sorry about that. I am not a beauty blogger and I review some products for fun only. Today I wanted to collect a lot of material in one post, I hope you are ok with this. We have 4 products and I have to say each is curious in its own way.
1 Nivea Soft creme. Very useful for me and each person who lives in cold climate. Starting from November the temperature drops low and skin needs extra care, supper care does not work fully any longer. Creme should be thicker and more nourishing, at least for me. This one works nicely and if you don't think of the scent it has I could recommend it. The price is very low. However for it smells a little more intense than I would wanted. And it holds strong. I will probably use it for outdoor walks with my pups but otherwise it smells to much for me. It is not a scent of something like fruits, berries or even something sweet, it reminds me of Chemistry lab in school.
2d is the first part of the set I got. It's makeup primer. People say without a good primer you can't have a good makeup. This is a great option for daily use. It's budget-friendly and it works fine. It does have a slight scent issues, same as Soft creme but it is not as strong and doesn't hold at all.
3 overnight mask. I do love a good mask and overnight mask sounds awesome. I totally see myself using it after events, when I feel like my face got soaked in makeup. It also gives a great moisturizing feeling for me. Same scent but it's ok as I can ignore the smell while I sleep.
4 peeling gel. and it is supposed to be used before makeup and it actually opens my own hack for important event makeup. Peeling skin might prove very useful especially if you might have some dry skin or any other reason you want it smoother. I wouldn't recommend it if you have irritations or pimples on your skin. It works nicely but my skin loves peelings so be careful if you are not into it. It might be a little harsh if you have sensitive skin
Have a nice day,
Lyosha
I've seen that Nivea cream appear on a few people's blogs, so it must be worth a try! I've just never used any kind of product like that before, so it'd be hard for me to start introducing it into my routine - especially since I don't have a routine 😂 I do use a few other Nivea products though; they're definitely a household name for those who use beauty products, that's for sure!
ReplyDeleteNivea products are really good. I've just gotten some new items in recently. I'd love to try that peeling gel. Not seen that before.
ReplyDeleteAll of these are great products. I love Nivea products. Their facemasks are always great.
ReplyDeleteI will definitely try this. I love Nivea products and I'm always excited whenever there's a new one
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing your review. Nivea is one of my favorite brands.
ReplyDeleteI have tried a few Nivea products and they were good. I agree that living in a cold climate, we need a product like the Nivea Soft Creme!
ReplyDeleteNivea is one of the brands that entered the Russian market quite a few years ago, when nothing, literally nothing was available in the stores from the Western block. Awesome review!
ReplyDeleteI remember my mom using Nivea. It is a classic product that works
ReplyDeleteI have always been a fan of Nivea. We have some of their products in the house. I'll have to check these out!
ReplyDeleteNivea always seems to have some good products. I could definitely use the cream during these winter months.
ReplyDeleteI love nivea and use it everyday. The body lotion and the cream both. Have you used their shower gel, heard they have launched.
ReplyDeleteEverything sounds so interesting! I've used a lot of Nivea products but some of these were new to me. I really want to see if I can try them for myself. Thank you for sharing your thoughts <3
ReplyDeletethe creation of beauty is art.
These look like nice products! I will have to check them out.
ReplyDeleteGreat collection from Nivea. I think my wife would love the overnight mask for sure as she loves to take care of her face and if the scent isnt too strong it would be a great stocking stuffer for her this christmas!
ReplyDeleteWhen it comes to my skin Nivea is one of my trusted brand. I really love their products.
ReplyDeleteHere, the temperature dropped a lot starting this week and I already feel my skin is changing. So your post here is just in time and thanks a lot for the useful information! Keep them up! - Knycx Journeying
ReplyDeleteAny skin care with a strong fragrance, I don't like, because fragrance dried my skin out and irritates my nose and eyes. The peeling gel seems nice, though.
ReplyDeleteThese products look great. I’m a big fan of Nivea, especially their day cream and night cream. I’ll have to try these out.
ReplyDeleteI also use Nivea soft cream, especially now in the winter when the skin is even more dry.
ReplyDeleteI am very happy with the products from Nivea.
Friendly greeting,
Nina
I find as well that Nivea has some great products. I like how thick their creams are.
ReplyDeleteNivea products are amazing. They are quite gentle on the skin and I have never seen any side effects.

I'm using the classic NIVEA cream and it was great. That NIVEA Soft is also good as hand cream :)
ReplyDeletethis all for women wich i can recommend to my wife and daughter,,,i hope there is for men too wich me and my son can use to
ReplyDeleteNive makes nice options for men as well. Actually Nivea Soft is unisex
DeleteThese sound like great options. I have always trusted Nivea products, but the first cream that you mentioned sounds really tempting. I also live in an area that's known for colder winters and my skin takes a beating. Products that help to combat that are in high demand! lol
ReplyDeleteThese are some great products, I especially like nevea soft cream.
ReplyDeletewell, I use Nivea Soft creme for years now and I'm happy!
ReplyDeleteThank you for this honest review. I have actually noticed that about some Nivea products, the smell is very strong, and I usually prefer light fragrances. So I love that you were completely up front about the strong fragrance!
ReplyDeleteStephanie S
thanks! I think it's important. I often find myself looking for products with as less of scent as possible. plus I dislike lavender (it gives me headache) which is a huge issue
DeleteI do enjoy using Nivea products from time to time. You've reviewed a few products I've not seen before. I'm interested in the Primer. I think I might give it a go as I'm need of finding a new one. Great reviews. Thanks
ReplyDeleteI've noticed that I've been having to use lotion daily now that winter is officially here. My skin is not liking winter this year at all. I didn't realize that Nivea made a makeup primer! I'll have to give that a try.
ReplyDeleteI didn't know about primer right up till the moment it was delivered to my door!
DeleteMy favourite Nivea product is the classical Nivea cream. My favourite one! I also like their soaps. Recently I have bough Nivea face cream with Q10 but my skin has reacted badly to it.
ReplyDeleteclassic blue cream for body, it works so well!
DeleteI’ve heard a lot of good things about Nivea but have never tried it. Maybe I will now
ReplyDeleteI haven't used nivea products in a while but I do hear good things about them! :)
