Jazzy Jazz

Lately my husband Max became the main moving force when it comes to concerts. I am very happy with temporary change because it feels different when you are not responsible for finding the best events and controlling the time. And it’s jazz second time in a row which makes me feel excited. I have never heard Eilenkrig orchestra before. It was a birthday of the founder and the hall was fully packed (which is nearly 50% of original capacity for safety). We had a total blast. The day was a but rainy so we went for casual looks with matching red plaid shirts. In case I felt I was too dressed down I could take off the shirt and end up in pretty classic smart dress. It's actually a very handy idea: plaid shirts often scream casual, if you pair with a more or less fancy dress, you can always change your look with a mere taking the shirt on and off. This way you can get several 'looks' in one go, it's very useful if you have several places to visit, chores to do.

    1. yes, there is a lot about the genre indeed. I personally prefer old school jazz something Duke Ellington might have played

  9. I love jazz, but I love more smooth jazz that is a mixture of jazz and rock/pop elements. Like Kenny G.

  10. Haha, sometimes it is nice to not have to plan things and just sit back and enjoy what others plan -- especially if it's jazz!

  11. Jazz - I'd say that I'm not crazy about the music, rather about the lifestyle that comes with it...if that makes any sense ;-)

  18. Listening to Jazz with eyes closed is something I love to do. And these days it's also closed nose and mouth. Lucky we don't have to close our ears at least. You must have enjoyed thoroughly. Nice casual dress. Love it.

  20. Ooh! I love it. Matching plaid shirts sounds like a winner to me. Jazz can be rejuvenating and different from the regular run of the mill concerts.

  21. I love the idea of being able to dress up or down with a simple shirt change! That is such a great idea that I had never thought about before. I'm excited to hear that things are opening up in your area, and you had an amazing time at the concert. I'm waiting to see if we will be able to attend football games in the fall here. Fingers crossed!

The gingerbread house

Mixing, remixing and matching. That's what we do so often that don't actually understand. I love feeling comfy and stylish at the same time so I need some remixing with cool comfy pants. That's why I tend to wear same pants so often esp when it goes to everyday life. I'm sorry but I'm not the one who snaps outfits everyday (I'm in Russia which means that I leave home for work when it's still dark and come back when it's dark already) so many out my ideas or layers stay not seen, This is an outfit that made it. Max and I went to get some shopping therapy to local mall. Our small camera was with us so we went to kid's sectore and took some photos. Why not?     I was wearing: Jacket c/o Oasap Glasses c/o Firmoo Pants c/o Motel Rocks Shoes Alba Coat Desigual   Have a nice day, Lyosha

So cold!

Winter sure is a harsh season for any person living in the northern parts of the world. The temperature hits below 0 C, there is a lot of snow and such... It might be tempting to pretend to be a bear and stay at home doing nothing. But you definitely shouldn't do that. Relax, go out and do your best to enjoy the current weather. Or at least make yourself move as fast as possible to move from point A to point B and enjoy your life when you are finally at the place of destination. The key is to get dressed properly. Try more layers or use very warm items. Also thermal underwear (the simplest and cheapest being Heattech from Uniqlo) might help a lot. As for me I mix warmer items, layering and smart materials to achieve the best result. Today I post my little outfit I wore on Friday. Met with my family, did some shopping and went to gym. Overall I was spending a fair amount of time outside so I needed to stay warm. Surely being a blogger I couldn't avoid desire to still look...

The sea

For our vaction we've chosen the country with the sea. Actually  we wanted some rest and expected a verycalm vacation like laying on the beach and swimming the sea all day long. It didn't work out for it's boring for both of us but you caught the main idea. I was very happy to buy this beach dress! it's so sexy and comfy! and what is the most exciting it looks great being oversized! yay for belts, girls! The photos I'm going to show are the shots of two days. the photos where I'm in the dress are from the beach near our hotel and the swim-suit are from the Great Beaches (or Veliki Plyazh). The sand is grey there it's volcanic and said to be healthy. I don't know if it's true but it's fun for sure. We've been acting like kids there, building the sand castles, running and laying on the sand and playing the water (it's not deep at all, I was already tired of walking when the water was berely at my tummy). oh, how I wish we had the extra da...
