Be my Valentine's

Not long ago I shared with you my plans on spending Valentine's day with my better half. I decided it would be fun share actual date as well. Why? To show how different can be similar plans depending on the exact locations you choose. For example here not only we went to different restaurants (even though they are more or less in the same category/price range) but also different concert hall. This alone affects the date greatly but I wanted to show it. Also it is a reason to repeat without actual repeating as a date idea which is a great idea for long time partners. In you are in the relationship for over 10 years it's pretty hard to think up something completely new without traveling. Even something very simple like a mix of classical music and a cake can be very different if you approach it differently. Funny side note: as per tradition we eat the same type of cake, both times it was a Russian honey cake because we mixed Valentine's day and a cake date this month. As fashion season is starting I will have less time to spare and one of my husband's projects is approaching a stage when it will require spikes of his attention, there might not be enough of comfortable time for a cake date later this month.

I wore one of my favorite dresses of all: wrap dress by DVF, probably the most comfortable type of dresses in the whole world and definitely complementing. I added a red scarf as a belt to make it more Valentine's Day themed, red clutch as well pink/red eyeshadow and drew hearts to match the theme.

I wanted to add what we ate and listened to, to make it more immersive.
I was wearing:
DVF dress
TJ collection bag (old russian brand)
Jil Sander boots
Tenezis tights
Monki coat
H&M and Faberlic (c/o) necklaces
silver earrings from Cyprus
Certina watch
I heart Revolution makeup pallete, the Balm pensil

Have a nice day,
Lyosha

  11. Your dress looks gorgeous! I love the idea of a cake date. That’s a cute one that I may start doing with my husband. We’ve been married for 13 years, and I feel you when you say it can be difficult to do something new without traveling.

What's in my bag?

I never did such post and really wanted to fill in the blanks here. Moreover I wanted to do it because I recently got two items which are hard to show in the outfit but are part of my daily life and style for sure. Plus it's it fun to have a closer look in my daily life? That's why I want to show you my bag contents. When I'm not wearing a backpack which usually means I have a sports uniform inside or planning or carry something more or less big or going for some travels (so I need my hands as free as possible) I tend to use smaller scale bags. The point is to have only minimum of necessary things with me and not to loose something important. This time I'm featuring my recently most loved bag by NewChic (you can shop it here ). Usually I have a wallet with me. When who doesn't? We still money to life, right? It is my very new and super comfy wallet which was provided by great company NewChic  I recently posted two posts with their awesome items here and h...

Red and yellow

Did ever sit next your computer and have in fact nothing to say? That's what happens to me now.  I have wonderful outfit I wore simply to have a small walk with my dear husband which I actually put on because I wanted to look pretty and feminine. I didn't put a lot of effort in it, simply combining items which came in mind that time. Overall nothing special. I wanted to add some red in my look basically because have't worn it for ages. Do you remember my post about travel  ootd? - it was my last moment of wearing red. The coat I wear is my good old fave, a lot like friend you know. I don't wear it often but when I do I feel special. I can't help but add also a funny picture of me because it's Friday after all! I was wearing: Mango red coat Topshop bag Alba boots not branded skirt, top and scarf headband c/o Frontrowshop   Have a nice day, Lyosha

Music

Every family have traditions. Some migrate from families you come from (your parents), some migrate from your partner and his family, some take roots in your or your partner's own living while some you create by yourself as family. The latter are the most exciting. Sometimes one time deal become important because you like it so much! Sometimes, you don't really pay attention and in some time you realize - the tradition was born. I've already told you Max and I go St. Patrick's parade in Moscow every year no matter the weather (it wasn't easy this year due to cold but we went anyway). Here is one more tradition of ours. Each month we go to philharmonic mostly to listen to classical music (however it is not always that genre). The start of the concert this Sunday was a little late so asked Max to make my photos and they ended being this post. For such occasion it's important for me to look properly. I usually stick to dresses because they look appropriate and ...
