B-day girl

I promised more maternity styles with no maternity clothes. There you have it! It is what i actually wore for my birthday on March 31st. We had a blast.
Before I start telling about my b-day celebrations I wanted to tell you something very exciting. Max and I relocated and now we live in a whole new place. My style will change I think because now I live in tropics. It does sound like a dream and I absolutely LOVE it so far. I now live in Cancun, Mexico so if you are ever here, drop me a line, I'd love to hang out. So far I absolutely love it here, all the downsides are the ones I knew of and been prepared to; so much that actually succeeded my expectations! I'll tell you more later on, most likely when we are fully settled.

We celebrated my birthday in Playa Del Carmen. It was very much fun! We had a huge ice cream instead of a cake (and I totally don't mind) and spent most of the day relaxing in cenote. Cenote is a cave, semi-opened cave or a an opened natural pool with not salted water. The ancient Maya used it as water sources. You can find it all over Yucatan peninsula and if you are ever there you just have to try a number of it. Personally I find it WAY better than the sea. These are called Xca-Ha and you can actually walk there from 5th av which is a main shopping/tourist street in town. Super friendly for kids with tons of pools and rides for little once; big picnic are, you can bring you own food there, just make sure not to eat in the pools and go anywhere near cenote. You have to pay extra for the cenote but it is worth it. It has two pools that are connected via steps. The water is warm there because the cave is semi-open and well lit (some cenotes might be pretty chilly to actually swim around for long). Very nice and affordable place (especially since you don't need to use any transport to get there the center). As there was tons of swimming I am actually featuring a couple of photos from there in my bikini. I found regular bikini with straps perfect for pregnancy as well simplest bras, especially triangles and halters. My breasts grew a lot and I don't personally find it very emotionally comfortable around my chest but I know it looks fine and it's my mind playing around. Yes, you can feel insecure in so many ways, especially if you are in love with your AA cup.
With my regular outfit I wore an old roomy vacation style monochrome dress. I love it so much, never tired of it personally! White bag is roomy enough to carry stuff we needed (swimsuits and a towel). I didn't want my birthday outfit to e black-and-white so I added some yellow from my new watch strap (actual gift of my hubby for my birthday), sunnies and a silk scarf. I find the coordination pretty cute here. (secret: I have an outfit using the same color formula for you to show pretty soon).

I was wearing:
Marc by Marc Jacobs (old)
Fila flip flops
Michael Kors bag
c/o iGlasseshop glasses
Fossil watch (my hubby's gift for this birthday)
silk scarf (a hand me down from my wonderful Mother)

Have a nice day,
Lyosha

    1. yes, I have to admit ever since finding out about the baby on a way my life changed drastically. I don't complain really:so far it is mostly for the better. but yeah: blogging does sound like 'exciting news' over 'exiciting news' announcements all the way.

    1. thanks! yeah, I have tons of news lately but I promise no more surprises. We actually had to move fast with all the things and I did take a week of blogging completely to set up the move, actually travel and such. We were in a hurry because of my pregnancy. I am blessed with a bump on a smaller size but I am actually 33 weeks pregnant already so we wanted to set up home while I can still be active about it. Also our dogs are joining us a little later on with a separate flight which actually makes things SO much easier. And my husband Max helps a lot with everything (he actually does most of the stuff) while still working full time, it's pretty awesome how much you can push yourself when you actually feel the need and is able to be flexible about your schedule, making work purely task-based. We also changed our active hours a bit, it helped a ton. It is surprising how much you can do if you slack less and wake up earlier. It works even for me which is surprising because the main downside of pregnancy for me is having to sleep more, it's a pain to loose two hours of your time per day in a blink of an eye.

    1. I am using regular 50 sunscreen from Nivea not super strong Korean and Japanese sunscreens I am used to, I think there's nothing wrong with getting a tiny bit of tan and there is not reason to really fight it hard

Jaime Ibiza Fashion show

It's been awhile since I have visited a  fashion show. I am so excited to get to see it from time to time here. This time I was happy enjoy and bag and luggage fashion show. The designer is pretty famous here in Mexico. He is from Guadalajara. I absolutely enjoyed the spectacle and the bags. I can easily see me rocking any of those!  Luggage collection was a special surprice. It is the first and new collection and it features cute styles, great quality and interesting shapes to carry you stuff the best way possible making trips even more enjoyable. I wore a very casual look. All brows, cute little back and comfortable shoes. I didn't get to wear something special because I was on a  go and in a bit of a hurry as I have had things to do right after. It was a great experience. I hope to see more fashion shows here. I was wearing: Cuidado con el Perro skirt and shoes MiuMiu bag H&M top   Have a nice day, Lyosha

Ruinas El Rey

Archeological site El Rey is located in the Cancun hotel zone, right next to the most scenic beach in my opinion playa Delfines. The part of the ancient town is actually located in the nearby museum Museo Maya Cancun (if you ever visit it, don't forget to also check the ruins in the garden). But the original town was a lot more than what you see in the museum. I highly suggest you to walk a little bit further and explore the ruins of the right hand side right after playa Delfines. It is a very tranquil place with lots of iguanas for the inthuiasts and ruins to explore. the entrance is inexpensive as well. My family had a lot of fun exploring the small ruins of our town. I have chosen to wear my favorite wideleg jeans, a crop top and practical closed shoes (I always suggest some soft of closed toes shoes to explore the ruins, it allows you to move freely without worring to hurt your  feet). Definitely perfect for a relaxing weekend I was wearing:   Have a nice day...

Nicosia crush

I normally post my vacation reports when I am on other vacation but what are the rules if not break them from time to time. Today I want to share with you some special moment of trip to Cyprus last month. I finally reached Nicosia, the Cyprus capital and met a fellow blogger. Nicosia is not only a capital but also the only capital divided in two: Cyprus part and Turkish part. But it is not the only nice thing about it. The city is beautiful and made for walking. It is so nice and easy to simply walk around the narrow streets wondering what next corner will bring. Great place to hang out especially accompanied with local guide and a fellow fashion blogger. I was so happy I spent my day in Nicosia that I wanted to share it with you the soonest. So here it is.   My outfit was based on the weather. I wore my yoga leggings and top from Tonica (yes, guilty of over wearing but it is just too comfy), Uniqlo vest because it is the best ever thing to keep yourself warm,...
