Bienvenidos!

This is a very very personal post. And I think most of my readers kinda waited for it. Last weekend, on Sunday May 22d Max and I welcomed a new life on Earth. Her name is Ada Maria and she is already making me feel proud. 48 sm and 2485 gr of joy. 'Though she be but little she is fierce'

While we promise to do all we can to keep her healthy and to give her as many possibilities as we can (because they are limitless) showing her that there is nothing to ever stop her we wanted to give her something else. Special. A name. I think most of parents these days make a big deal out of a name. Some cultures say name helps to define the person. We at least partly believe so as well so we wanted to name her significantly. Today I want to share the meaning behind my daughter's name. Ada was our first choice for a name for a girl we both had in mind before we even meet, not only started thinking about the babies. Ada, after Ada Lovelace, the first programmer ever, mathematician and scientific partner of Charles Babbage on work the first ever computer. Maria is after Maria Curie, a scientist who actually doesn't need to be introduced. Chemist, physician, two times Noble prize winner, the first women to the prize and the first and only person to win in two different scientific fields. Naming her after two very significant women we do want to empower her and give her a little extra confidence push. After all, what parent doesn't want what is best for their children. We are parents for just a couple of days but we are no different.

Have a nice day,
Lyosha

Still can't skate

Each year they set up a free artificial ice skating area as part of Christmas village in our city. I have tried it several times before and could never figure it out. But it is fun anyways. There is something in doing something horribly without any shame. I am not trying to excel in it and for some reason it it truly deeply liberating. What do you think? I wore simple and comfy outfit. Cropped top with Nightmare before Christmas print (it is Christmas theme for me, ok), comfortable back cargo pants and sneakers. You can not really top that. I was wearing: Cuidado con el Perro top and pants Converse shoes   Have a nice day, Lyosha

Casual and handy skirt

Hello! One of the most comfortable daily looks I have worn lately. Positively obsessed with the skirt. It is So comfortable and handly. Lots of pockets as well if you know what I mean. I wear it run errands on regular basis. I like that the color makes it look interesting. Overall I am quite happy with the way it looked. Nice and easy I was wearing: laola skirt Etro belt  and bag Cuidado con el Perro top and sneakers Sanrio socks   Have a nice day, Lyosha

Explore Starcon

I'm going to brake up vacation post series to share the Starcon experience. A week ago I was sitting on the same spot and getting ready to go. We've been to lovely Saint  Petersburgh. We managed to have a charming walk in the  evening even right after the con. Starcon was all about sci-fi and we loved it so much. We even wore the Jedi costumes (wait for them in the end of post). Max, my lovely husband, sewed them for only 3 days (that's why the design is so simple). and I also got 2d place in Star Wars Miniatures board game tournament took place there. I'm so happy! As for outfit - I've chosen a super comfy outfit with a very cool pants! I bought them on ebay and they are more than 20 year old pants (I guess soon they could buy booze on their own but I doubt I need it). I love them for their shape - keeping me cool during hot and warm when needed. Oh, and can I also call it my pijama pants trend pants? or not? What I also wanted to mention you are my fab set jewel...
