Classical music

If there is anything I love doing, that's listening to some classical music. I was doing it all the time in my previous home and I am excited to start on doing it again here after the move. We do still explore the possibilities and are looking for new place to find such event around us but I am positive we will have even more joy soon. This time we went to listen to some piano classics played with 4 hands (two performers, one piano). We loved it so much! All of us actually, we took our baby daughter with us. She loves listening to classical music (we call it audial pacifier) but were worried about taking her to life performance. She made it through the whole thing without sleeping or weeping, she listened! I just had to mention it in the post because if anything I am a proud parent here.

To wear I chose simplicity. Jeans because we were in the new place and I wasn't sure if they are not crazy fans of freezing aircons and it also was the evening so I didn't think twice. Bright shirt to make it less casual. And a pin gifted from my friend Burak of his own brand (I was so shocked to see it gifted when we met in Istanbul). I added glasses to have a better look on the hands. And I also think my look turned out very nicely.
I was wearing:
c/oiGlassesshop glasses
Befree jeans
c/o Nordgreen watch
gifted brooch
Motel Rocks shirt (very old)

Have a nice day,
Lyosha

  1. I am sure you enjoyed the music especially because your baby is with you. you are more attentive to the performance than by worrying if you leave your baby to someone else.

  5. Oh yes classical music can be so relaxing. I grew up listening to classical music and opera as my mom was an opera singer. Though opera may not be super relaxing LOL everyone is singing about unrequited love or some dying LOL. But seriously growing up with this gave me an appreciation for it. This looked like a lovely evening and congrats that she sat through and no crying!

    1. I like opera as well but yes it is never relaxing! Also I always tried to follow the opera so I needed to read to get what's going on firstly on the sheets and later on with subtitles. It is fantastic your mother was an opera singer! it must be even more special to you

    1. thanks! it's a huge perk of Mexico: you can take your baby with you basically everywhere, only dangerous places for the kid are banned (for example you can't zipline with her). It's taken for granted that your baby behaves

More about hats

How did you welcome a new year? I did it calmly with lots of time dedicated to myself. Man, I needed a nice little break here and there, especially as my little one is home for a school break. I have had a lot of fun but I also managed to dig in some interesting information I really want to share with you. I now live in the hot climate and wear hats only for style but I used to wear hats to keep me warm years back. And you know what I am happy I have a choice. These days I wear a lot of bucket hats and baseball hats and occasionally rock a fedora. Do you fancy some hats? I used to wear wool based hats all the time but I never actually didn't try to alter it. recently I found a great way to alter them and get them to fit you perfectly. I would love to share it with you because I know just how much a good fit changes the whole perspective on a life in the cold. I have discovered three fantastic ways to deal with it: hot water pot, shower and washing machine (only applicable on bucke...

VFWR: Day 3, Liza Romanyuk

Next post about Volvo Fashion Week Moscow. I'm  incredibly  slow but I hope you can handle it. I'm going to tell you about my last day at  Volvo  Fashion Week Moscow. It was a pleasant Sunday. The weather was grim so we've been more than happy to finally be inside. Fist show we've seen and the only show I'm sharing in this post (more are to come) was splashing summer energy runaway.I was totally in love. Moreover: VFWM was my very first fashion week ever last season and this season it made me one more  surprise -my first ever backstage entrance. I went with simple yet very comfy outfit in fact caring more about how comfortable I feel than anything else. My legs and back (esp.my poor back) kept telling me they hate me.  The show of Liza Romanyuk was very various. It came with different themes taking both clothes and music, even the light for catwalk and designer sign walls were slightly changed. Dreamy start Patterns and tons of fun ...

Still can't skate

Each year they set up a free artificial ice skating area as part of Christmas village in our city. I have tried it several times before and could never figure it out. But it is fun anyways. There is something in doing something horribly without any shame. I am not trying to excel in it and for some reason it it truly deeply liberating. What do you think? I wore simple and comfy outfit. Cropped top with Nightmare before Christmas print (it is Christmas theme for me, ok), comfortable back cargo pants and sneakers. You can not really top that. I was wearing: Cuidado con el Perro top and pants Converse shoes   Have a nice day, Lyosha
