If there is anything I love doing, that's listening to some classical music. I was doing it all the time in my previous home and I am excited to start on doing it again here after the move. We do still explore the possibilities and are looking for new place to find such event around us but I am positive we will have even more joy soon. This time we went to listen to some piano classics played with 4 hands (two performers, one piano). We loved it so much! All of us actually, we took our baby daughter with us. She loves listening to classical music (we call it audial pacifier) but were worried about taking her to life performance. She made it through the whole thing without sleeping or weeping, she listened! I just had to mention it in the post because if anything I am a proud parent here.
To wear I chose simplicity. Jeans because we were in the new place and I wasn't sure if they are not crazy fans of freezing aircons and it also was the evening so I didn't think twice. Bright shirt to make it less casual. And a pin gifted from my friend Burak of his own brand (I was so shocked to see it gifted when we met in Istanbul). I added glasses to have a better look on the hands. And I also think my look turned out very nicely.
I was wearing:
c/oiGlassesshop glasses
Befree jeans
c/o Nordgreen watch
gifted brooch
Motel Rocks shirt (very old)
Have a nice day,
Lyosha
I am sure you enjoyed the music especially because your baby is with you. you are more attentive to the performance than by worrying if you leave your baby to someone else.
ReplyDeleteoh wow!!! Your top looks exactly like the artwork behind you, that is sooooooo cool...
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you noticed! It's local Cancunese artist, there is a gallery next door to the concert hall here. I couldn't skip the photo opportunity because I felt like I match the wall and loved it
DeleteSo wonderful that you were able to attend...and that your daughter was quiet the whole time! Love what you wore. Your glasses are so cool.
ReplyDeletethe creation of beauty is art.
That's amazing and sounds like you guys had a wonderful time. Really loving your outfit and how your glasses match as well.
ReplyDeleteOh yes classical music can be so relaxing. I grew up listening to classical music and opera as my mom was an opera singer. Though opera may not be super relaxing LOL everyone is singing about unrequited love or some dying LOL. But seriously growing up with this gave me an appreciation for it. This looked like a lovely evening and congrats that she sat through and no crying!

I like opera as well but yes it is never relaxing! Also I always tried to follow the opera so I needed to read to get what's going on firstly on the sheets and later on with subtitles. It is fantastic your mother was an opera singer! it must be even more special to you
DeleteI absolutely love the tropical shirt. Reminds me of a trip to Hawaii...might have to plan another trip. Thanks for the inspiration.
ReplyDeleteWhat a cute outfit! I love the glasses. So chic! And yay for your baby girl to be able to listen through classical music without fussing. Kudos! Definitely a proud mom moment there!

Classical is my favorite and it is so amazing to see your kid with you.
ReplyDeletethanks! it's a huge perk of Mexico: you can take your baby with you basically everywhere, only dangerous places for the kid are banned (for example you can't zipline with her). It's taken for granted that your baby behaves
DeleteYour glasses look so cool and they match with your outfit too! Glad to hear that your baby also enjoyed the concert :)
ReplyDeleteEverything Enchanting <3
