Cuidad de Mexico, part 5. Assorted museums.

There are lots of museums in Mexico City. It is named one of top 10 cities by the number of museums in the world. Some museums are bigger, some definitely are on the smaller side and some are also absolutely free (sidenote: many museums are free on Sunday for residents and citizens, and some even for travelers as well). Today I want to invite you on a very assorted museum run with me. Here some (four to be exact) museums of Mexico City we managed to visit during our trip. By the way, all of them are free to visit.
1 Palacio de Cultura citibanamex. As far as I remember the exposition changes from time to time but the palace stays the same and looks spectacular. We saw a very modern and curious exposition of one of the biggest archtechs of Mexico city.

2 Museo Archivo de Fotografia. The photography museum. My personal favorite, we have spent tons of time here. I had such a plast. Definitely a must visit for people who are into the photography.

3 Colegio San Idelfonso. Mural, murals, murals. Both original murals on the walls are breataking and spectacular, explaining the spirit of Mexico and it's capital in the fullest; and the modern new artists who follow the same spirit in a modern manera.

4 UNAM Palacio de la escuela de medicina. Museo de la medicina. Medical museum. Very curious points onvarious conditions, lots and lots of information on embrios, skin conditions and facial reconstruction. I am not a medic but it was very curious. Surely the palace is a breathtaking beauty by itself.

  8. Wow I didn't know Mexico was in the top ten for museums. It could give NY and Paris a run for their money. The museums you visited looked wonderful. Would love to visit a museum on archtechs and the exterior of that one museum is stunning!

    1. oh yes, most of the museums in Mexico City repurpose old buildings so it's very true visiting some of them (especially the free museums) just to explore the interior)

  16. Great article on Mexico City’s museums! It’s interesting how cultural institutions are as important as healthcare services in communities like Williamsburg, where companies like Benevolent Healthcare offer temporary Medical Staffing in Williamsburg to support local needs.

More about hats

How did you welcome a new year? I did it calmly with lots of time dedicated to myself. Man, I needed a nice little break here and there, especially as my little one is home for a school break. I have had a lot of fun but I also managed to dig in some interesting information I really want to share with you. I now live in the hot climate and wear hats only for style but I used to wear hats to keep me warm years back. And you know what I am happy I have a choice. These days I wear a lot of bucket hats and baseball hats and occasionally rock a fedora. Do you fancy some hats? I used to wear wool based hats all the time but I never actually didn't try to alter it. recently I found a great way to alter them and get them to fit you perfectly. I would love to share it with you because I know just how much a good fit changes the whole perspective on a life in the cold. I have discovered three fantastic ways to deal with it: hot water pot, shower and washing machine (only applicable on bucke...

VFWR: Day 3, Liza Romanyuk

Next post about Volvo Fashion Week Moscow. I'm  incredibly  slow but I hope you can handle it. I'm going to tell you about my last day at  Volvo  Fashion Week Moscow. It was a pleasant Sunday. The weather was grim so we've been more than happy to finally be inside. Fist show we've seen and the only show I'm sharing in this post (more are to come) was splashing summer energy runaway.I was totally in love. Moreover: VFWM was my very first fashion week ever last season and this season it made me one more  surprise -my first ever backstage entrance. I went with simple yet very comfy outfit in fact caring more about how comfortable I feel than anything else. My legs and back (esp.my poor back) kept telling me they hate me.  The show of Liza Romanyuk was very various. It came with different themes taking both clothes and music, even the light for catwalk and designer sign walls were slightly changed. Dreamy start Patterns and tons of fun ...

Still can't skate

Each year they set up a free artificial ice skating area as part of Christmas village in our city. I have tried it several times before and could never figure it out. But it is fun anyways. There is something in doing something horribly without any shame. I am not trying to excel in it and for some reason it it truly deeply liberating. What do you think? I wore simple and comfy outfit. Cropped top with Nightmare before Christmas print (it is Christmas theme for me, ok), comfortable back cargo pants and sneakers. You can not really top that. I was wearing: Cuidado con el Perro top and pants Converse shoes   Have a nice day, Lyosha
